Restaurant August presents our Chef's Tasting Menu - a journey through nine dishes to encapsulate the August experience. Our current menu includes Fruits de Mer, Fava Bean Agnolotti, Pan-Seared Diver Scallops, Sorbet Intermezzo, Grilled Colorado Lamb Loin, Tête de Moine Cheese, and Dessert Trio. The Tasting Menu is $150 per person and $240 per person including thoughtful and intentional wine pairings.

Our server, May, was excellent and we were very impressed with the job that she did. The food was excellent and we all would like to return to August on our next visit to New Orleans.

Great experience. I loved the gnocchi. The duck was prepared well and was excellent. I didn’t love the side but I think if it had bread to spread it on it would have been better. The wine list was great.

Generally, this is our favorite nola restaurant; however, they had problems handling the crowd during jazzfest. Seated an hour late for long time reservation; kitchen ran 30 minutes from order to appetizers; entrees followed 20 minutes thereafter. fyi

If you love fine french dining this is your place. Everything we ordered was very tasty and beautifully plated. There was 4 of us and we ordered hot and cold appetizers and different entrees and each of them were delicious. The foie gras is not to be missed!!!! We usually do tasting menus but we opted for the traditional menu which impressed the table. We will be back and recommending this place to anyone!

Definitely best dining experience we had this week (also ate at Galatoirs, GW Fins, R’evolution). Had the tuna crudo which was very light with a citrus granita, flaky salt and pretty scattered flowers, duck breast was fabulous as was dessert which was a hummingbird cake. The food was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. The space was a bit noisier than ideal but otherwise a great evening.

Restaurant August definitely rates in the top three restaurants I have ever visited in my lifetime. Beginning with the hostess seating us through our server team Lee and Annabelle and all of the staff that served us throughout the evening, the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and all of the extra touches they added made the overall experience a “far exceeds expectations”. Restaurant August is a definite must when you visit New Orleans.

What a beautiful restaurant and wonderful experience. We came early and had fabulous cocktails at the bar. Once our table was ready we did the Chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairings. What a delightful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

August is known for its exceptional cuisine that's just the right bite. Hostess was excellent and greeted us for our reservation. Our server was good. Only drawback was one of the Maitre D who kept forgetting our order. ( ordered a glass of one several times) He would ask and then forget. Not cool as it was done more than once.

Some of the dishes were exceptional, but there were a few misses. Notably, the pasta course was bitter with little flavor. However, the two fish courses were exceptional and well worth the visit. The service was fair, and the pacing of the tasting meal was off, taking far too long toward the end. Overall this is a lovely restaurant but does need to step up the service a bit to match.

We had a terrific dinner at Augusta. We were in a back room, which was much quieter than other New Orleans restaurants. Our server was very attentive, as always. The food was uniformly delicious. Definitely our go-to restaurant in New Orleans.

August has been and continues to be our favorite New Orleans restaurant. We dined on a Monday night. From appetizers, to main course and then desert, we were never disappointed. The service was as outstanding as our meal. Highly recommend!

Always fantastic. Tasting menu was incredible. Always like to come to this place for a diverse meal that is different than the typical rowdy/noisy Nola restaurants.

Lovely restaurant and great service. Food was very good but for the price I expected something more memorable. We had the gnocchi "black and blue", white asparagus & crawfish tart, NOLA barbeque escargot, and red snapper Pontchartrain. The amuse-bouche and escargot were probably the highlights. Also, August Carajillo after the meal was very good. The rest was tasty and well prepared but nothing special. The cork somewhat disintegrated upon extraction so had some bits of cork in the wine and the second espresso we ordered didn’t arrive but we were charged. Should have said something but the service was so good I just brushed it off.

This was our first August experience & we LOVED everything about it. From the White Asparagus & Crawfish Tart to the Striped Bass with Blackened Oysters Topping to the White Burgundy Wine selection by the glass. Wait staff is AWESOME & we could not have been more pleased - all 5 of us felt the same about our choices!!!

First time back in over 20 years and Restaurant August didn't disappoint!! This is my favorite spot in NOLA, the vibe, the food, the service are all exquisite and such a welcome escape from the madness of the French Quarter. Food in New Orleans is good but tends to be heavy and August is such a lovely departure from that with smaller, lighter portions with amazing flavors that each look like a work of art! You simply must go if you are in town!!

We dined at several top restaurants in New Orleans recently. Restaurant August was by far the overall stand out and should be ranked on the level of a 3 Michelin star restaurant. The cuisine is wonderful and enhanced by the great service and ambiance. This restaurant is not to be missed.

At Restaurant August, our Upstairs Private Dining Room can seat up to 100 guests for a reception-style event. The Chef's Tasting Room can seat 12 and features a customized Tasting Menu. Wines can be paired by our sommelier for a more unique experience. Buyouts are also available for up to 300.
