Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. Outdoor reservations are by phone only. We look forward to seeing you.

We have eaten at Reid's and loved it, so much so we brought a private chef to share the experience. Mistake. The $65 steak was a joke. I can fix a better ribeye, and that's saying something. The couple sitting next to us have a second home in Banner Elk and questioned the quality of the food. We do not mind paying $300+ for dinner, but it had better be worth $300+. We are staying in Blowing Rock on Main Street in June and have reservations at Reid,'s which we will be canceling.

The food and service at Reid’s is always great. A must stop during visits to the High Country.

Food is always fresh and unusual. Dining is always an experience at Reid's. The chef seems to take simple dishes and make them extraordinary.

They added 20% to our bill and did not let us know, this should be disclosed by the wait staff Other than that, the food was good and Service was adequate

Taylor has taken care of us a few times now and she is great! The strawberry burrata salad was simply that with olive oil and sea salt - delicious! We each had a chicken dish - both very good and the homemade pasta was perfectly prepared!!!

My Pork Tenderloin Dinner was seasoned, served at the proper temperature and the sides further enhanced my dining experience. Reid's wine list is composed of excellent pairing wines. The wine I chose Chateau neuf du pape which is an example of Reid's pairing. Finally, the Buttermilk ice cream completes a wonderful taste experience.

No prices on the menu. Steak was $65 and tough. Everything else was great but server was not very attentive.
