We had a really bad experience here for nye, booked in advance a group of friends of mine and when we get there they just say that had a problem with the reservation and they can’t having us, without sending any email or letting us know, at Dec 31 10pm they completely ruined our nye dinner

We had a reservations for New Year’s Eve and upon arrival we were told they were running 45 minutes behind schedule. We waited for around half an hour to then be basically told we would not be getting into the restaurant before they did last call on food and drinks at 10:30 pm, our reservation was for 9:30 pm. We befriended another couple in the lineup with a similar situation but a 9:45 pm reservation, they were staying at the hotel and we were not, they ended up getting in and were sat at a table for 4 and they were kind enough to invite us to join them, otherwise we would not have got in as that’s what we were being told when this couple came back to invite us to join them. Overall the good and drinks were good but I would not trust the restaurant to honour its reservations.

New year eve was a busy day and understandable that people stay longer than usual. We had to wait another 30 min to get our seats and the price was pricer than I thought! Overall, it was pretty good!

Our server made what was an unfortunate experience more tolerable. Reflections had overbooked reservations, so we were asked to wait 30 minutes for our table, which ultimately became 55 minutes. By the time we were finally sat, they were out of several items on the menu – food and drinks alike. Each time we used the bathroom near the front, we would wade through the several parties of people who were waiting and complaining about their wait. Since it was New Year's Eve, we felt bad that this restaurant created less-than-ideal nights for people who were there to celebrate and ring in the new year. Appies were tasty but our mains were so bad that we couldn't eat them. The flatbread was missing truffle, the short rib was extremely overcooked, and the risotto was watery and flavourless. Our server was kind enough to take the mains off our bill, and had that not happened we would have escalated the conversation to management. Generally not a good experience for a place that's considered reputable in our city. Overpriced and poorly managed.

Terrible place reserved a high table for 7 30 pm and wasn’t seated until 8 30 pm. Menu consisted of 4 mains, limited vegetarian items. By the time my girlfriend and I were seated we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get a high table. Drinks were overpriced for what you were getting. Definitely will not come back here again

We had a reservation for 7.30pm on NYE . When we arrived we got informed it was going to be 10-15 minutes late. 1 hour later we finally got seated. Host and management very unsympathetic about the situation with everyone’s reservations being a hour behind. Server was pleasant but very very slow The decorations were very festive and pretty but drinks overpriced and overall a disappointing experience

This was horrible. Reservation made weeks ago. We arrive at at 7pm (15 mins before our reso) and we proceed to wait over an hour for our “reserved” table only to be sat at the worst possible spot in the whole restaurant after requesting something nice for a special occasion on the reservation. It took over an hour after that to have any drinks brought over. It made us late for the next reservation we had at 9:30 pm. I Didnt get to eat anything as the service was abysmal. No discount was offered nor was any accommodation made for our request to sit at literally any other table. The manager ignored us, the hostess ignored us, and the waitress as well. It was a total night ruiner to be sat so far out of the dining room that it felt like we were in the kitchen. Would not recommend to ANYONE who is counting on even decent service and experience. First and last time i will go here. Many other establishments that are better in the area. DO NOT GO HERE.

Expectations are a bit higher at this venue due to its' prestige. This was also our New Years outing so we were excited to have a great dinner out. Our server neglected to mention at the time of ordering that one of our dishes was no longer available. A substituted dish was dropped off at our table leaving us wondering if there was a mistake. After some confusion it got sorted out and the substitute was taken off our bill and sent back to the kitchen. My main dish wasn't outstanding by any stretch. We were left hunting through the menu trying to find something that wasn't deep fried to tide us over until we got home. All the while two 'gentlemen' were sitting at the bar next to us, visibly drunk, dropping 'F' bombs among other obscenities at high volume. Overall all our experience was something I'd expect at a decent local pub that serves mediocre food with unsophisticated patrons. Our bill didn't reflect this. It's a great place if you've had enough to drink to overlook its' shortcomings. We just unfortunately weren't drunk enough.

Super overpriced drinks. I made a reso 6 weeks in advance and was sat by the front door not even in the restaurant basically so zero decor an ambiance. 3 of the seasonal cocktails were sold out. And the ones that were left were mediocre at best. For $25 a drink I expected better.

Waited 30 minutes to be seated for a reservation that was booked a month in advance. Went for the atmosphere and were placed in a tarped area away from the Christmas decor. Short rib was absolutely disgusting and dry. We were charged incorrectly when the bill came. The servers were rushing and were struggling and miserable. I cannot believe how much the quality has dropped here. Never coming back again.

First time with my family to dinner at the Rosewood Terrace, great food & service. Kudos to our server Tuafik & Coleen. I recommend it.

Had to wait 10 mins irrespective of booking a table which wasn't a problem. The wait time between each order is too long, which is kind of a bummer as they give you an hour and a half timing. The ambience was great.

The room is beautiful, the food was great, drinks are overpriced and service lacked. The host that seated us seemed angry and slapped the table to indicate where we were to be seated which wasn’t the greatest introduction. I understand why there is a 90 min time but when it takes 20-30mins to get a drink ordered that cuts into that time and our table wasn’t checked on so we weren’t able to order as much as we would have liked. Our server rather than telling us the 90mins were almost up asked if we wanted to order more food and when we replied in the affirmative then told us we couldn’t which seems an odd way to get a table moving. Especially when as we left there were numerous empty tables and nobody waiting at the host stand to be seated. At $25 a drink I just would expect better - and I’m certainly someone who will happily pay that for great service and high quality. Luckily the Hawksworth Restaurant lounge turned out to save our evening with impeccable and friendly service, fantastic drinks and some great appies so I would say give the pretty lights a miss if you are looking for service and value for money and head downstairs.

It was decorated lovely and a nice atmosphere but the service was not the best. I don’t think it was their fault it was quite busy but a lot of sitting around waiting and had to ask to have my water filled

I was very disappointed in the food quality. I expected a better experience as the food was subpar for the price. Presentation and serving dishes were something from a cheap diner. I would not go back for any food but rather an evening drink.

I’ll admit I was skeptical about returning this year after last year (2022) was honestly horrendous. Our server jun was fantastic, she was super fun, attentive and really went the extra mile to ensure food allergies were taken care of. The cocktails have always been great, the food has improved a lot for 2023, more of what I would expect, I wouldn’t say it was incredible but it was good bites. Also very much appreciated our table request was met as we had. A guest who is recovering from knee surgery and we needed a lower table. We were met with champagne after having to wait for our table to be ready. The team has majorly improved on service this year and it did not go unnoticed.

Great place to catch up with friends over the holidays. Ambiance was picture perfect, prepare to take great photos and have a good time. Our server Taufiq, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The manager David, was super friendly also making sure our table was well taken care of.

Sadly the experience was not good. The food was absolutely awful. It’s the 3rd time I’ve eaten there and each time the food hasn’t been good but I thought I’d give them another shot. Bad idea. The cod was undercooked and had a weird aftertaste. My boyfriend’s lobster taco tortillas weren’t cooked thorough, with small/minimal soggy portions. My friends chicken also wasn’t great - had an aftertaste. Overpriced and sub par! Just gross. The drinks were very good. The atmosphere amazing. Those are the only reasons to go there. Drinks and scenery. I wish I’d gone somewhere else.

The management team was great! Had a hiccup with my order but they fixed it and that’s why I will recommend and come back. Also the truffle fries were outstanding!

Overcrowded, understaffed. Watched multiple tables complain about space and seating. Took 20 minutes for a server to arrive and another 20 for drinks. Quality has gone down compared to a few years ago.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Received excellent service. We’re seated within 10 minutes of arrival and exactly on time for our reservation. Cocktails and food were great. We had wagyu beef dumplings, garlic jumbo shrimp, and truffle fries to share as appetizers. The short rib was so tender and beautifully executed along with very delicious gnocchi. It was an evening worthy of the celebration. Very special.

Service was great minus the one hour time limit on our reservation and table. The decorations and ambiance was also very good. But the overall seating was quite cramped. The table beside us had a difficult time getting pasted us due to how tight the seating was set up. Also the cost of the cocktails did not match the quality of the cocktails. While it was a good one time experience, not sure if I would do it again

We were there for the first time. I found the food way over priced for what you got and food was just average nothing special. Drinks were really expensive $40 for a negroni!! Crazy!! Wouldn’t recommend it as there is far better places that don’t charge you a crazy amount for average food!

The environment is great and well decorated. The service is terrible, all the time water missing on the cups, delays to deliver drinks, not kind service. I was celebrating a special occasion and I ask for a special note on the desert and they didn’t do it. For an expensive restaurant like this I was expecting way better.

We were reminded 3 times that we needed to leave within two hours of arrival. It took 30 mins to get our first drink. They didn’t have the required liquor or food to serve three of the drinks and two of the appetizers. After an appetizer and a main dish, we left hungry. Do not recommend this restaurant for any reason whatsoever.
