We chose this place before a Broadway show for the convenient location but now it is on my list to come back to. The staff here from the front to the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was so nice, classy. Big open space with high ceilings. There was an excellent piano musician with a beautiful voice. Food was very good and came out quickly. The French dip yummy and very filling. The sushi was delicious per my husband.

Everything was excellent! Seating was easy, the staff excellent, food & drinks were great. Well prepared during rainy days, we were dining outside(happy hour) and the weather was anticipated, so they moved us inside without any problems at all. Staff is very courteous and kind. Dessert was fantastic (banana pie)! We love it here!!

Superb service and delicious food and drink! The entertainer at the piano was outstanding…we definitely will be back!

I ordered filet mignon medium rare and it came medium-well done. The Brussels sprouts side dish was thick and gooey. The sedge salad unremarkable.

Crab & avocado salad is my favorite. Proximity to Carnegie Hall is the reason we endure the noise & high prices.

The food, drinks and service were terrific. It’s been several years since our last visit. Everything is still top notch. Looking forward to returning soon.

I was greeted with a much-needed glass of water, which was wonderful. I was also seated in a comfortable chair, as I requested, so that was wonderful too. It was after I was the waiter who knocked two stars off this rating. I ordered a glass of white wine, which was cool, but not cold. I tried to catch the waiter's eye to ask for some ice, but he'd moved to another table. When I finally got him I asked for ice and a general idea of the size of their beet salad. He told me he wasn't sure they had beet salad left and that he'd check. He turned to walk away and I reminded him that I also needed ice. He nodded. Then he went to another table and didn't return until after my glass of water was refilled and there were ice cubes in it that I put in my glass of wine. The waiter never told me if there was any beet salad: instead he asked if I'd decided on what I wanted. I ordered another glass of wine, with ice, and a cobb salad. He gave me a glass of ice cubes and a small spoon which (I suppose) was meant to help me get the ice from the glass, but the ice cubes slid off the spoon so I used my fingers. All in all, I felt like an afterthought to the waiter so although the food was good, the service wasn't. And the price for me (salad, 3 glasses of wine, and one scoop of ice cream) was about $120. I won't be back unless I'm with a group, and have wont he lottery.

It was a great experience from the service, ambience and food … and we especially loved the bar area and loungy feel along with the musical artist playing the piano and singing! It was such a lovely touch and end to our day, taking our grandson who was visiting from Santa Fe NM to experience the Big Apple !!!!
