Restaurant sur deux étages offrant une fine cuisine décontractée (ainsi qu'une terrasse extérieure), le Red Pony est clairement devenue la destination favorite pour une expérience gastronomique sur l'historique Main Street à Franklin. Les chefs Jason McConnell et Carl Schultheis se sont associés pour créer un menu convivial et varié utilisant uniquement les produits les plus frais cultivés localement, les viandes et les fruits de mer. Les deux chefs qui ont travaillé ensemble pendant six ans allient leurs styles et techniques culinaires pour créer de nouveaux produits à tous les jours. Élu "Meilleur nouveau restaurant en 2006" par le magazine Southern Exposure, le menu du Red Pony est sacré comme «habile dans sa simplicité et intriguant dans sa mondanité».

Always our go to place (especially without of town guest) …. Ask for Rocky …. He has taken care of our table many times and tonight was as wonderful as always.

From when we first sat down to dessert, the meal was a wonderful experience! The drinks were great, the food came out quickly (especially for a Friday) and our waiter was knowledgeable and wanted to help. We will be back!

The best dining experience in Franklin. The food is always superb, service top notch. A wonderful night out and worth every penny.

The lamb chops are the best anywhere!!! My husband, son and I frequently order them. The kale salad is delicious too!! We ordered the focaccia bead service. The olive oil with spices for dipping made the warm bread so good!! The service was great too. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Red Pony was a beautiful dining experience. Our waiter was helpful and timely, our dishes were excellent. The favorite of the night was the flounder. We had panna cotta and a lemon tart for dessert. We would order them again.

We had not visited since before the fire. We won’t wait that long before returning! Patrick provided excellent service with some great tips on the menu.

This restaurant offers an elevated experience with unique selections! Every meal that we've had here has been amazing. The service is always incredible, and everyone has in-depth knowledge about the food options. We would highly recommend dining at this restaurant!

Michael “The Manager” was the most disrespectful, unprofessional, & rude individual I’ve ever come across in the Service Industry. He lacks basic communication skills, common courtesy, & respect towards women. His behavior & tone was embarrassing, reprimanding, demeaning, & cruel. He scolded our table of 7 ladies who came to dinner during a bridal event for the weekend. Nashville and its surrounding areas, now being the Bachelorette Capital of the country…. should know how to handle a group of ladies when frequenting a restaurant for a celebration of this kind. We were kind, dressed appropriately, respectful, well behaved, and making friends with nearby tables. Not to mention we are in our FORTIES! He sat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant as though we were on display, yet expected us to be quiet, and only spoke when spoken to. He scolded us for having a good time, & enjoying ourselves. In the 35 minutes we were in the restaurant, our voice became loud for less than 30 seconds. Mind you, our “loud behavior” that led to being scolded & reprimanded by Michael consisted of singing a 20 second clip from the song, “I would walk 500 miles”. How pathetic that Michael attempted to ruin our night by chastising our group in front of the entire restaurant, rather than politely asking us to lower our voices, which we would’ve gladly done. Instead, we no longer wished to remain in his presence, & asked for our check. As though his decisions for the evening weren’t already been bad enough, he continued to double down, informing us there was no need to pay the bill, and we could leave. What a terrible business man. We had a table full of appetizers, fresh cocktails, & our food was being prepped in the final steps of service window. Regardless, his mistake, the restaurant’s loss, and our story to continue to tell of the night a restaurant manager lost his cool, taking whatever is going on in his home life out on us. FYI Basic social skills & commutation are key as a GM.
