The Big Red O baked potato is super good it was so big I had to take more than half of it home. The waiter was nice at first but then kept on forgetting to attend us, the hostess kept on checking up on us instead, overall i give it a 3/10

The menu selection and ambience was not what I expected. I was expecting the same red oh that’s in Newport Beach. This was more of a bar feeling, which is good for those that like that type of ambience. I personally was looking for something classy, which was not it.

The enchiladas were drowned in sauce, and tortillas were thick and dry. Also we were completely hurried up, we couldn’t even drink our wine while the waitress was hurrying us to pay. Also the waitress should wear appropriate clothes, I could almost see her belly button !

We had a nice dinner. The service was great and we were seated by the window with a nice view of Santa Monica. A Mexican restaurant should have a few more menu options, in my opinion. The taquitos and guacamole were good. The short rib crispy taco was good. My brother ordered a beef enchilada and he didn't like it all. He said the meat was too tough and enchilada should be more melty and cheesy. The churros were delicious! They also let us order Happy Hour Margaritas to the table, not just the bar.

Fine service and ambiance but really bad food. totally overcooked to the point of being inedible. Other tables were complaining. I just ate the overcooked veggies and left the chicken alone. I just asked the server to let the management know. I didn’t ask for compensation or anything. Hopefully they pay attention to food quality more in the future

It had been a while since we visited this establishment. It did not disappoint! The service was excellent and the food, including dessert was impeccable. The manager was gracious in making sure we were well taken care of by the staff. We will be returning.

The atmosphere was fun, the server took about 20 minutes to get to the table and another 15 min to get our cocktails out. She said they were slammed, but there was only five other tables seated in the restaurant. The food was very tasty a bit spicy, but enjoyed it very much, good vegan options. Overall, a good experience if not in a rush.

Our waiter was friendly and enthusiastic when he greeted us and took our drink order. The experience went downhill after that. He got our bar order wrong and forgot someone’s drink completely. Appetizers arrived before drinks and we had to chase the waiter down to remind him about the missing drink. The entrees came out quickly but the quality of the food was poor. The enchilada trio (lobster and shrimp, chicken and beef) was terrible. The seafood enchilada was filled with tiny bits of something that did not resemble or taste like shrimp or lobster. The beef and chicken were filled with a pile of mushy meat. The chicken fajitas were not tasty either. Sides of rice & beans came out cold. The only dish with seasoning was the salsa and chips (which they charge for-usually complimentary) and the salsa was super spicy. All in all not an enjoyable experience. This was not my first time at Red O but many years have passed since my earlier visits. Back then the ambience was better-fun crowd, nice decor and much much better food. This place makes Chili’s and Chipotle taste like fine dining.

Happy hour appetizers were great. Entrees not so much. My dish was drenched in oil. It settled in a pool at the bottom of the plate. It just wasn’t good at all. Service was great though and so was the location.

This mexican food restaurant has delicious margaritas and a variety of dishes for all. As I recommend to all restaurants to have more vegetarian options but my friends love it.

The welcoming statement was that we need to ‘be done in 90min’. There was plenty of seating available though. More disappointing was the noise. Few clients had to change tables.

We were here for NYE and the experience was overall disappointing, since they had announced an experience with a party and a champagne toast but then only told us when we were sat that we could only have the table for a maximum of 90 minutes. The food was ok, but the DJ awful and the service subpar.
