Small table by the walkway too close to the bar. Waitress was great, music too loud, food ok and overpriced. Won't return and won't recommend.

Food has always been decent in the past but this experience was subpar mostly due to the terrible service. Restaurant was half empty yet it took forever to get drinks we ordered, waitress was not attentive at all. One of our parties meals got messed up in the kitchen and he got his food AFTER all of us had eaten/plates taken and they hardly acknowledged it. This absolutely shouldn't have been on our bill but it surely was. Poor service for a place I have always loved will keep me away.

They do not know how to cook duck.I had to have it remade twice and still it was unedible. The server was horrible.They even thanked me for not liking my food so that them and the other kitchen staff had dinner.

Nice experience and good food. My wife tried the duck and loved it. Likewise, I had the wagyu beef dinner and fully enjoyed it. Nice environment for a romantic dinner.

Always a favorite! The cozy atmosphere and low-key-yet-exceptional service is just perfect for date night. From the beautiful cocktails and Burrata appetizer to the steak frites, it was another perfect dinner. Thank you, Red Feather team!

We love the food and cocktails at Red Feather but I’m sorry to say that the seating upstairs is just terrible. The booths in the upper area are tight and claustrophobic and the seating with the built in 1/2 circle bolsters is incredibly uncomfortable. The bolster hit just above my lower back, and I’m 5’10”, creating an uncomfortable angle. The seats were low so my knees were above my hips. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to rush through our meal to get out of that seating! Getting rid of the odd half circle bolster would help immensely. Again, the food, cocktails, and service were wonderful but I’ll stick to coming to dine when the weather is warm and I can be outside or make sure we can sit downstairs.

Loved the ambiance. I asked for a quiet table. The greeter made sure I had the quietest table. He was very helpful. Food was good. Service was good. Two hours later I realized I had left my cell phone at the restaurant. The same gentleman who seated me recognized me and went back and up with me to where I sat. The cell phone was not on the bench seat. He had the sense to call my number. We could hear the ring muffled. He removed the seat and found my phone. Whew! I am so grateful.

Seated upstairs at a "four person" table which should have been a table for two. I sat in the corner seat and was squished up against the wall. Way too cramped! Two drinks took at least 30 minutes to come out, and one was a beer. Food came right after the drinks. One of us waited quite a while to get a knife so they could eat. Two orders of duck were not good--they were cold and had not been rendered/roasted properly so even though the breast appeared medium-rare, the meat was tough and skin was very thick and rubbery. Sauce was cold and plate was missing cranberry agrodolce. We ordered a second round of drinks but cancelled them after a while and left. Used to love this place but probably won't be back.

Hayden took good care of us and gave us plenty of time to relax with drinks. His wine recommendations for the food were good. They were hammered on a Friday night mid-TreeFort festival. The space is dark, narrow and crowded with very small tables. We had fried cauliflower - doused in sweet chilies sauce - spicy but good. Duck breast with butternut purée and Brussels sprouts was good. The streak frites - ok, frites sat under the heat lamp, too long. IF you need the 8th street location this is a nice change from some of the larger/noisier places in the block.

Food was great, service was good; our waiting was helpful and kind. Only negative is it took a lot of time to get any drinks from the bar. When we ordered our second cocktail before our food arrived, we had already finished our food before our drinks arrived, so I think it was probably about 20 minutes or so.

The service, drinks, and appetizers were perfect. Sadly the main course was disappointing. We purposely went to Red Feather for the Halibut. My husband and I both ordered it and had the same experience. It was overcooked overall but then had some undercooked spots as well.

We made reservations for Valentine’s Day and when we arrived - they sat us by the door on a very small table (which is now on the patio in an enclosure). We asked for a different table but could not be accommodated. The server was amazing (wish I had noted her name) but the bar service was TERRIBLE. We got our initial drinks AFTER our dinner was served. Tried to order a 2nd and had to cancel because we were done and ready for the check still waiting on the 2nd drink. Had it not been Valentine’s we would have walked out. Very disappointed.

Enjoyed Valentine’s Day dinner fixed price meal. Creative menu and selections were delicious. Particularly loved the scallops and risotto dish! Waiter was very good but kitchen got a little behind, nothing unusual for a holiday meal as restaurant was packed. A worthwhile experience overall!

fantastic food, very cool setting, very reasonably priced. We had 2 appetizers (burrata and ceasar salad) and then my wife had the halibut and I had a steak. Then we shared chocolate orange cake for dessert. Everything was delicious!

Exceeded all expectations. Our server Bella was delightful and very knowledgeable, providing fantastic service and menu and drink recommendations. The ambiance/atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We came from the airport after picking up friends on their first visit who are big foodies and they loved it as much as we did. The quality, taste, and presentation of the food was top notch. We all got a different dish and equally raved about our meals. The cheddar mash was to die for. We also got brunch cocktails that were amazing. We can’t wait to go back at night to the bar for cocktails and for dinner.

Only complaint was the hostess denied our request to move tables. We were at high table and ask to be moved. He sad that table was spoken for. That table remained empty the entire time we were there.

New Year’s brunch was great. We arrived prior to our reservation and were able to get right into the restaurant. Service was good but a bit slow for only having two customers in the restaurant at that time but the food was really good and had a great price.

To preface this review- we use to be frequent customers. Our server was nice but very new , when we ordered wine the excuse for it taking so long (20 min plus )was that it had it come from the cellar. Cocktails took over 15 min to arrive even though restaurant was only 20% full, The fuzzy leopard cocktail tasted like pure lime Juice. The halibut entree which 2 in our party ordered was so salty neither of us could eat it but when server took plates and 90% of food still on plate he didn’t even ask what was wrong or if we wanted to take it. This is crazy to me. The gnocchi tasted like flour bombs - probably the worst gnocchi I’ve ever tasted. One positive- the calamari appetizer was tender and delicious . We were also there celebrating 2 birthdays and it was not acknowledged.

We've enjoyed Red Feather throughout the years. You can't anticipate who you'll be seated next to and that was part of the ambiance issue for us... a screaming child. The server started out somewhat attentive and even though business was slow, she disappeared for a while, leaving no coffee refill or check for longer than we would have hoped for. Food and presentation was very nice and tasty!

First time I went We brought two friends do they could try out red feather. We all had something diff they( real foodies), loved it, and said they would be back. The only thing that might need a bit of improvement, is, I think we had a different chef this morning, and the potatoes were covered in some sort of hollandaise sauce. I will remember next time to say that I want the potatoes done crisp. The first time I went to this restaurant, the potatoes were crisp with Parmesan and just lovely. Other than that everything was great. It’s one of my favorite breakfast spots. I think you all should try it.

We had a delicious and perfect holiday brunch with friends this weekend. The food was spectacular, the atmopshere is comfortable yet very chic, warm and welcoming. Great greeting from stafff, excellent service, overall an awesome day. Thank you for a great start to the weekend!

Our table was ready when we got there. We ordered food pretty quickly off the brunch menu. Had Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Sourdough toast & Jam and a Inferno Bloody Mary. Everything was amazing!! We sat, ate & we were full within 45 minutes.
