The food was really tasty and good value for the money. Staff and customer service was 10/10. All waiters that attended to the table were friendly and a real credit to the restaurant.

Despite funny guy who bought us food and drink nothing else stock in my head. Unfortunately red dog beer like a water no taste beer nothing at all..photos look awesome but reality shows sth different

We were turned away at the door so went for a drink and booked a table for 1/2 an hour later. Arrived on time for our 7:15 pm booking to be told you’ll be seated upstairs once the table has been cleaned and was sent to sit at the bar were you aren’t asked if you want a drink. After 10 or so minutes we are seated downstairs weren’t asked if we wanted a drink and then a couple seated next to us were given drinks service before us and ended up having to call someone over for drinks service. We ordered the 2 Rodeo burgers without the peppercorn sauce and a side of fries. Burgers were excellent hot straight from the grill fries although beautifully seasoned were warm at best. Red dog lager was fine. Will definitely try again though

Great service and amazing food. Our first time here but we will definitely be back. Live music band on Saturday evening, something to be aware of if you prefer quieter dining. Overall fabulous evening here.

Table booked for 7:30pm, was not taken to a table until 8:20pm. Waited a further 30mins for food. Food brought with the exception of one meal returned due to a fly within the sauce on a plate. Seated on a stage with a 1.5ft drop so needed to be careful getting up from our seats. First time diner, food was good but could have been better as the chicken burger was fatty. Overall, still had a good meal but too many negatives spoilt the evening.

I am a frequent diner of Red Dog in Liverpool and this place never disappoints. The staff is always polite and attentive & the food is delicious. Lots of great items on the menu to choose from. The atmosphere is very lively and energetic. I will be returning Saturday evening as they will be hosting a live band 🎶

Red do was open on a Monday which is a bonus as most places are closed, the burgers are really really nice, service was very good

I was very disappointed with this meal. I took my son out for a dinner in Liverpool and wanted to take him for a fantastic dinner full of the food he enjoys (ribs, pulled pork, wings etc). Red Dog seemed to fit the bill, according to the menu. When the food arrived it was barely lukewarm. I sent it back (to be fair this was no problem), and got a new serving. This was marginally warmer, though not much. The food itself was OK but not at all what you'd expect for the price - for example, it's nowhere near the quality of Bodeans, which is what I'd had in mind. The service let the place down, too. I had to repeatedly request to be served a drink I'd ordered, while others around me were given theirs ahead of me, and at one point a member of the wait staff dropped cutlery on my lap. These things are fair enough and we all make mistakes, but when I raised my concerns with the staff, all they did was take the (already optional) service charge from the menu. This really wasn't good enough for such a disappointing meal - at the very least, I would have expected the drinks to be removed. All in all, extremely overpriced for very average food and not one I'd recommend. On top of this, I've emailed them about my concerns and had no response. Highly disappointing.

We arrived as booked at 7pm however weren’t seated until 7.15. It then took 40 minutes to get our food. When the food came it was lukewarm however having waited 40 minutes we weren’t willing to wait any longer. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium - I could have walked to Spain on it and it would have still been intact. We were given our food, not asked if we wanted anything else, we were not offered any sauces either. When someone eventually asked if everything was ok I asked for some bbq sauce and I think he may still be making this as I did not receive it! Then to top it off a 10% gratuity tip was placed on my bill! I’m all for tipping someone but I’m not sure what they were wanting a tip for

Food arrived cold, got sent back and second time out it was very heavily salted. The room was on the verge of being chilly, almost at the point of putting our coats back on to eat. Finally, when the bill arrived we have been overcharged £15 for items we didn't have. All in all, not a great experience, although the staff were very nice.

Booked for a meal. Easy to book, good communications. On arrival, pleasant service & Kieran ( server ) was very helpful. Food & drinks very good. Well worth the visit!

Chicken tenders for dayzzz. Definitely the best we’ve ever had, no messing around. Drinks were strong (respectfully) and the platter was boss. Service was on point, gave amazing recommendations and made sure we were having a great time. Amazing atmosphere and we’ll be coming back soon!

Everything tasted absolutely fantastic. Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had. It’s not cheap so wouldn’t routinely just come for dinner but definitely recommend for a special occasion. Worth every penny but we couldn’t eat everything. Service was great and atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely.

Had to wait to be seated even though had booked a table. Food was overpriced especially as you don't get any sides and have to buy them separately and for what you got wasn't worth the money. Very disappointed as was out for a birthday meal for my son after having a nice day and put a downer on the day

The food was good but service incredibly poor and slow - we were constantly waiting ages / walking around to find someone to get basic things like drinks, sauces, the bill etc. Even had someone check how our food was when our plates were completely empty, and didn’t clear the plates for another 25 minutes after that. They added a £10 service charge which I felt too uncomfortable to remove even though the service was bad, and then asked if I wanted to leave a tip on top of that! Food was very good (although doesn’t look like their Instagram pictures) but unfortunately the service ruined the experience which was a birthday gift.

Alway good place for food I only say sad they got rid of the Philly fries off the menu but can still order them they go real well with the Gooey Louie burger

Starter came out cold, the both mains came out cold, send them back and one came back out cold again, sent it back and didn’t choose another meat was ordered rare and then served cold, not very safe in my eyes. When ordering the waitress was very rude and was looking over at other tables not paying attention. Drinks were nice, would go again.

Nice enough food nothing too special, however service was very slow and it was hard to get a waiter/waitress’ attention. Service was definitely lacking. Quite often 3/4 members of staff would be stood around chatting in the corner or on phones which is very unprofessional.

Waited an hour for food, we only had one drink in all that time and no one asked us if we wanted another. Food arrived cold, the manager took it back and said no BBQ left so we went somewhere else. This was a table booked for 7pm, I don’t understand how things could have gone so wrong.

The service was terrible the waiting staff got our order wrong (could have written it down). When the food did arrived there was items missing and the waiting staff seemed quite inexperienced and disinterested. Our drink order was wrong as well much to our frustration. The food itself was hit and miss. The brisket, ribs and mac n cheese were nice. The mozzarella sticks were ok but the sausage i was not impressed with and the beans were terrible. While i love animals it wasnt nice having someones pug running around our feet while we were trying to eat. The free dessert was a nice touch although when we heard banana and white chocolate trifle what we got was a soggy biscuit, sliced banana and cream. Me and my fiancée were really disappointed with the whole experience and we definitely did not get value for our money. It was a massive let down we wont be going back.
