Our first time visiting Red Ash and we loved it! The stuffed squash blossoms were a delicious appetizer. Our entrees were really good too. It is loud so a little difficult to hold conversations. Will definitely return.

I’ve found a lot of Austin’s finer dining to be underwhelming, but not Red Ash! Truly an outstanding meal, every time. So happy this place opened back up.

Outstanding restaurant. Worth the wait. Everything is perfect, food cocktails and most importantly the Staff. I know it’s difficult to get a reservation but so worth it.

So glad it's open again. We love Red Ash. Been going for birthdays and double dates for years. Food is consistently great. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. We have yet to have anything we don't love starter, main, dessert and beverages. Plan ahead because it's hard to get in. Great Italian is hard to find in Austin, and Red Ash is the best!

absolutely delicious! we sat at the bar, and had great service and recommendations for drinks. the garlic bread was amazing, and then we got two pastas, the caesar salad, and the sashimi and it was the perfect amount of food. great wine recommendations, and we were really happy with the experience. it was nice to go to an italian restaurant in austin where the bill matched the value!

Amazing experience. We got a table upstairs overlooking the kitchen. Nick was our server and he made the experience terrific. We had the meatballs and octopus to start. Both were outstanding. We ordered the steak which was perfectly seasoned and prepared and the bishop hat pasta - also incredible. I don't know how we managed to save room for dessert but the chocolate cake was devine. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Can't wait to go back.

Our reservation was for 7:30 pm, but due to two groups overstaying their time at the bar, we weren’t seated until closer to 8 pm. Despite the delay, we understood it wasn’t the hostess’s or the restaurant’s fault, so we remained patient. When we were finally seated, the female hostess with black glasses (wish I’d got her name) surprised us with a complimentary appetizer and drink, which was a thoughtful gesture that we didn’t expect. It definitely made our wait worthwhile. I highly recommend this place to anyone who can secure a reservation—it’s always bustling for a reason: the food is incredible!

Incredible way to spend our anniversary!!! The chefs table was an amazing experience. This is our new favorite restaurant in Austin. Delicious food, incredible service, and thoughtful touches.

We drove 170 miles round trip for dinner and it was more than worth it. Thank you !! Thank you !! Thank you to the chefs, manager Peter, Gabby, and everyone for making it a wonderful evening!

I'm so glad Red Ash is back! I've missed the staff, cuisine, cocktails, and ambiance. There's just nothing else like it! The new squash blossoms were a great add to the menu, martinis were just as good as I remember, and the pasta was perfection.

We enjoyed our evening at red Ash. Glad that it’s back open. The food was excellent! I was perplexed that they no longer have it happy hour. So overall, the dining experience was a little expensive.

Glad they are finally reopen! Came in for our Anniversary dinner and we were well taken care of. Haley and Anna greeted us with a signed card from the staff and sat us early for our reservation. Vincenzo was very attentive and had wonderful recommendations on the menu. The entire staff was wonderful and made the night very special for us! Thank you all and I can’t wait to return!

Delicious food, great service, and fun experience. It was exceptionally loud, but that could have been due to the large parties gathered during our dining experience. Definitely returning!

So psyched to have scored a reservation the week they reopened! It was excellent as always. Four of us dining, we had the amazing garlic bread, octopus, pear and endive salad to start. Then we enjoyed osso bucco , halibut, bone marrow and risotto and a pasta dish, I think. Everyone loved what they ordered. No room for dessert this time. Will also say we weren’t familiar with the wine list, but with just a few descriptors our server recommended a wine that was just what we wanted and very reasonably priced. Welcome back Red Ash, we can’t wait to dine here again!

I am so disappointed with our dinner at red ash tonight. We have 4 kids and going out is a special event for us and our favorite before the closure last September was Red ash. Tonight was not special. I kept waiting to give my feedback to the gentleman walking around that was likely the manager but he never came to our area. We always loved sitting at the bar but no more. My martini was lukewarm and I asked for it to be chilled down and only had the 1 drink because it wasn’t good. The crudo appetizer was pretty terrible and so were the bread and steak trimmings. The agnolotti, steak and cacio e pepe were good. Service was so lackluster. I had a bunch of reservations coming up at red ash but based on tonight and the fact that no one working there really strived to provide excellent service, we won’t be back.

Best restaurant in town. Can’t recommend it more highly. The tagliolini with blue crab might be the best dish in town.

Still the best restaurant in Austin. After a long closure for fire damage Red Ash is back. Thankfully they haven’t changed anything.

Great food other than the restaurant caught fire while we were there and they proceeded to lower the blinds and lock people in while smoke was literally billowing down the street and no one knew what the heck was happening!

Table was a little too dim, I couldn't see my food as well. But other than that service and food were amazing. I love the sweet birthday card from the staff and the birthday dessert. Thank you.
