Service was great, some of the dishes we ordered were delicious (not recommend the Seafood Fritters - did NOT taste lobster or shrimp. Also portion was small yet pricey). Check your bill before you sign. GRATUITY 18% IS INCLUDED!!!

The food is also 10/10, just wish the drinks are stronger. Customer services was amazing as always. I was expecting more Haitian music playing due to it being a Haitian restaurant. Overall everything was amazing

As a Haitian who knows how things should taste most of the food was subpar. The meats were unseasoned and we were given hot cheese cake. The only item that was good was the shrimp The cost and quantity is ridiculous. You get three plantains for $6. Three pieces! For that prices you can buy numerous. I want the owner to please get a better cook and make sure the DJ chosen is good. I want this place to succeed and it is in the prime location but the food needs to improve drastically. The ambiance need to be more warm and inviting as well

I loved it at Rebel. The food was sooo good. It was definitely authentic Haitian cuisine. I will be going back many times. I am so proud to finally be able to have a Haitian restaurant to sit and enjoy the food and ambiance, not just a takeout spot.

We arrived at 9pm for our reservation on Sunday, online said it closed at 10.30pm. The server/bartender named Kai, was incredibly impatient, unhelpful and snappy in all her interactions. We were the only ones seated and needed to rush our food, We had had a long day at work. They had the music on the loudest blast (even though we were the only diners). We asked if it could be lowered and the server turned it up more. The food was really good. Unfortunately the server made it a very unpleasant experience.

Great overall experience, wasn’t crowded and the entire staff was pleasant and made us feel as if we were visiting family! The food was superb, really authentic, can’t wait to go again.

Music is way too loud. It’s a Haitian restaurant that played no Haitian music. Overly loud rap music. Where is the cultural experience? Dominican restaurants play authentic music, as does Cubans, Colombians etc…Portions extremely small as well. The food tastes really good overall.

I had a great time celebrating my friends birthday. Food was amazing and the vibes were great! Our servers were accommodating and gave great suggestions for appetizers and entree. Drinks we good, we were tipsy LOL Overall great time and we will return.

We went with a group that had dietary restrictions. Our biggest red flag was finding out all the fried entrees were cooked in the same oil. That means if you have a seafood allergy, you can't have the griot, fried beef or goat. Disappointing. What food we were able to have was tasty and presented nicely. The music was too loud for a space that size but if you're trying to attract walk-in customers to the bar/lounge... Hands down, the best part of the evening was the staff! They were friendly, professional and attentive! If you've ever wanted to try delicious Haitian food, make Rebel your first stop.

This was my third time coming to Tebel. I personally love the food. On this occasion we celebrated my mother’s birthday. Everyone loved the food especially my mother. We are Haitian and the restaurant played the happy birthday song in Haitian Creole, which added a special touch for the Haitian mommy. My mother lost her brother a month ago and this was the first birthday celebration without him. Our experience at a Rebel really put us at ease and created an atmosphere that allowed us to have fun and not dwell on the loss. Ultimately my mother loved the food and ambiance so much, she is now finding every reason for us to take her back. Thank you so much for making a hard situation memorable. We will definitely be back.

There were 3 birthdays including mine last night so there was a lot of energy and loud conversations in the room. It is one dining room with limited seating, about 50 people can be seated here. I am so grateful to have been able to taste Haitian food for the first time! I had the Legume D’Ayiti and it was yummy!

Rebel Restaurant and Bar is definitely one of the best Haitian restaurants I’ve eaten at ever. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I’m Haitian, but I’m a Florida Girl that has eaten at many Haitian Restaurant establishments. I ate there twice while I was in New York for a short stay. We enjoyed the Chiktay Rolls, Chiktay & Fried Plantains, Akra, Fried Beef Chunks & Fried Plantains, Stew Red Snapper with Sweet Plantains, White Rice and Red Beans, and Legume with Beef. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the food was delicious and flavorful, the customer service was amazing, and the ambiance was a vibe; so many different ethnicity enjoying the best cultural delicacy. Makes me proud to be Haitian, to see the different shades of people and culture’s enjoying Haitian food. Check them out, support this business. My overall experience 100/10, I am not easily impressed. 🫶🏾

I went with a huge party (12 people) on a Sunday. The place wasn’t too busy. With a huge party I got to sample most of the menu. The food was excellent. I was disappointed they were out of the Kremas ice cream and pain patate. But overall I recommend you give this restaurant a try.

This restaurant was one of a kind! Great authentic food! Good drinks! (Strong & flavorful) With great vibes! The staff was so attentive and nice! I will absolutely be coming back to this establishment! There wasn’t too many people in the restaurant but there absolutely should be! & they have a DJ playing Haitian music with a variety of afrobeats and popular songs a total vibe! Dinner with friends, we each ordered a different dish and shared everything. Not one bad bite! I love Haitian food and Rebel did not disappoint. Shout out to the chef! Great place for birthdays, lots of fun, good music.
