Excellent food. Share plates were generous and the chefs choice of dishes for the all in menu were perfect. Plenty of food which was presented beautifully. The service was attentive and high quality.

Love coming to Rebel Rebel (RR) as food is always amazing, and wine suggestions perfect for selected meal. RR Team make you welcome, assist with selections and contribute to an overall wholesome experience. Also the reclaimed wood used in RR restaurant and architecture is unique. Congratulations RR Team, excellent job and I’ll be back.

Food was fabulous. Went for set menu & appreciated being able to not get oysters. Service was very attentive and fast, sometimes a little too fast. Early dishes arrived very quickly and it felt a bit overwhelming. Also, our waiter tried to take away plates that weren’t finished, including my own plate which had its cutlery laid out in the “unfinished” arrangement. She also seemed very serious and not interested in any banter! But it was efficient! We’d come back though!

We just keep coming back. Newer slant on the creations is outstanding. Choice options never fail to amaze. Service is a key element of our enjoyment. I am in the natural wine space and always pleased with maitre'd choices.

The service from the waiters was very attentive and patient. The food was unusual and very tasty. A point of difference from other 'modern Australian' restaurants was that the portions were very generous. I would definitely go back.

Yet again a very successful and enjoyable dinner at REBEL REBEL. Both food and service were excellent, and we remain huge fans of the Tuna with watermelon and whipped Feta and also of the Cauliflower. We followed these up with the Lamb, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully tender. Thank you again to the team!

A good experience and a well located spot - easy to park at ANU and walk over to avoid the dinner rush of the city. We booked for the Valentine's Day menu; nice selection of food but it was heavy on the oil and small portions for the per-head price. Great vibe within the restaurant and it felt comfortable to be there. Thanks for the nice evening!

Second visit to Rebel Rebel And it was just as good as our first visit a year ago whilst in Canberra Look forward to going back when next in the capital.

Fantastic clever food...tuna with watermelon and the tomato and nectrine salad were standout dishes, and the lamb was perfectly cooked and full of tenderness and flavour. Friendly and efficient service helped cap off a superb night out.

We (4 of us) had a late booking - 8.15 pm on a Saturday night - and we thought the dishes arrived rather quickly. Enjoyed all of them (creative, delicious) except for the mackerel - not particularly interesting and very over priced for 2 fillets. The guy who was our server was excellent. An allergy with one of us was accommodated well.

Poor form when expecting people to pay $150 a head and place an unpoured tinnie of beer on the table. Food was good, bread to mop up the sauces would be a good addition.

Food was delicious but felt rushed. First thing we were told on seating was that we were on a 90minute clock. We had turned up on time. It ain’t covid anymore. Tuna dish was the stand out and Lullaby cocktail was lovely. It’s just that the food came out with our pre cocktail.

The team at Rebel did not disappoint. We have been before but they continuously maintain excellence as a baseline standard. We keep telling our friends, because Rebel is just so good.

What a find, great service and wonderful food, takes you away from the normal fare but not so different that you don't want to try. Flavoursome and leaves you wanting more. Good wine list, nice range price wise which is always good to see without stinting on quality. We will be back.

The blue mackerel was a masterpiece. But the rest is either over salted or very average. Price is fair. But the seating is very narrow.

Interesting and imaginative menu. We had 4 different dishes and 1 dessert and they were all fantastic. Totally fresh ingredients and an interesting mix of flavours and textures. The only negative is that the tables are very small and quite close together.
