Coming Soon! Rayson Winery and Vineyards will have our first soft opening on December 2nd, 2023. We will be 21+ across our venue. Will will only serve water and wine. Tastings and wine will be offered Wednesday-Sunday from 11AM-7PM. We will offer food Thursday-Sunday from 11AM-7PM. Our last reservation for tastings will be at 5PM. Our last dining reservation will be at 6PM.

Dissapointed. Owners of Jolo Winery bought this land to save the 25yr vines however the wine seeed to be very artificial and caused a big headache. Maybe in 1 year?

We had a great wine tasting, loved all the wine, decent amount of wine per tasting. It took a little longer than we expected, closer to 2 hours. It’s a bit noisy in the tasting room, hopefully they can improve on the noise level! It would also be helpful if tastings could be done outside? Overall we loved it and are looking forward to coming back soon!

We did not have any food but had to rate it to continue. May want to update that. The wine tasting with Levi was outstanding. Would highly recommend Rayson to anyone.

I just love the changes made since this venue was purchased by JW Ray. It’s just top notch. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable about the wines, which are award winning and sooo good. We always meet the nicest people too. So relaxing to sit back with a bottle and chat with fellow wine lovers. If you haven’t been just go! You won’t regret it.

The young lady at the entrance was absolutely wonderful possibly adjusting my reservation of tasting and bistro. The lady at Wine Tasting seemed to know a lot about Raylen/Rayson wine. Very soothing personality. We enjoyed a lot!!

We were pleasantly surprised at the changes in the winery. Very upscale & plush vibes, but friendly & knowledged about the wines & future vision of the winery. We will look forward to coming back when we come in town again to enjoy the new experience.

So happy about the recent changes. The place is looking snazzy and there are more Rayson wines to sample. Love the cab franc! We always meet the nicest people there too. Looking forward to the restaurant opening. Well done!

The menu was rather simple until the restaurant opens in June, but the portions were decent and the food delicious. I had the Italian sandwich which was surprisingly spicey. It paired well with the wine we were drinking. My husband got the Black Friday. This sandwich was also tasty but smaller than my Italian. 'I cannot speak positively enough about our tasting guide, Sophie. She was an absolute delight and full of knowledge about the wine. JW should give her a raise!

Stopped by on our way back from Asheville to break up the road trip. Always wanted to try Raylen so I was curious about the name change to Rayson. I don’t have much to compare it to from the previous ownership, but it was very nice. They’re making more updates everyday so I’m excited to go when the renovations are complete. The wine was excellent! I liked 6 out of the 7 wines at the tasting. The standouts were the Rosé, the Chardonnay (which I rarely enjoy!, and the Cabernet Franc. The staff were attentive and friendly. They took their time with the tasting to allow you to enjoy it. There’s a lot of space outside to enjoy another glass of wine and the meat or cheese slate.

Jerry Ann and JW, the winemaker, showed us around the renovation that was taking place. The ambience is great. We are already club members at JOLOs and the wines that they have made so far at Rayson Winery are just as good.
