We went to Ray’s 3 nights in a row and loved the food, drinks and ambiance. Darlene makes awesome drinks and Bryant is an outstanding server.

It was a Mother’s Day pre-fix menu. They completely forgot to bring the appetizers. They had to boxe them to go.

I didn’t enjoy this restaurant the way I thought I would. There was a nat in my daughter’s mussels. Then they brought her steak out first with none of the other entrees. Her steak was bloody even though we asked for medium well. They took it back and cooked it longer and brought it back out still with none of the other entree’s. By the time the other entrees came out, my daughter was done eating her steak. I was very disappointed!

Server was disinterested. Large party adjacent to our table made it impossible to have a conversation. Steak was over cooked and lacked any seasoning. Best part of the meal was the overpriced bottle of wine.

The room temperature was not really cool, the humidity could have been more comfortable I couldn’t wait to finish eating to go outside to get fresh air. But outside of that the food and service was nice.

I hate to write a poor review of this restaurant because its one of my favorites. But our experience was terrible. We were hosted and seated promptly and our server was great. Our appetizers came out faster than we expected and then... that was it. Our food took about an hour to come out. It was only when I made our server aware that we were still waiting is when we got our food. She was very apologetic and even took off the food that was late off our bill and her gesture was appreciated. However, we were celebrating a special night and we had 3 kids with us who ended up eating crackers from our baby bag just to keep them reasonable. In the end, the portions of food was small, the taste was mild, and we went home just as hungry as when we came in. Again great restaurant, just not this time.

We had a group of seven for a college graduation celebration. Overall, everything was very good! The only glitch on Ray’s end was a member of our group didn’t get their main with the rest of us, and at least five minutes went by before our server came to say it had to be remade. Fortunately, I insisted the rest of the group now wait. By the time this person’s main arrived, the sides were no longer hot. We didn’t realize how long this would take and the server didn’t bring a plate so this guest could eat the sides while they were hot.

Great experience here at Ray’s in the City! I went out with my girlfriend for our prom date and let me tell you, the food was top notch! We ordered two different steaks for our entree, the bread basket as our starter, lobster mac and cheese as our side, and a red velvet cake as well as pecan crusted cheesecake. It was an enjoyable experience to say the least. The service was a bit long but that’s fair due to the amount of people there. The waiter was pleasant and polite. Overall, amazing experience and this place will see me again sometime soon!

I made a reservation for 10 people. It was to celebrate my fiancés birthday. I made reservation for 4:30. That was a great time to go. It was quiet and not many people were there. We went on a Saturday. The waiter was so helpful as well. I have a gluten, dairy, and egg allergy. He was helpful in offering substitutions for things. I was able to get the seafood platter and sweet potatoes with no butter. We all had an amazing time. Would definitely go back.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend the Waygu beef as one of the must tries.

We didn’t have a great experience. Our server was not as attentive to us as her other tables, we had to ask for the accoutrement to the seafood tower, as well as a couple other items. We were celebrating a milestone birthday (75), and we expected a much better level of service. The food was decent, but the seafood tower was bland and tasted like it’d just been thawed, and the shrimp,crab and lobster tasted the same. It was a “less than” experience, considering our expectations from other Ray’s experiences.

You can always expect good food at a Ray's location. That's something I usually say about the service as well. However, on our most recent visit to Ray's in the city, the service was oddly slow. It was dead when we first arrived, but did get quite busy towards the end of our meal. Felt like we were there for an abnormally long lunch. I may stick to dinner times for Ray's in the future.

Rays was very nice with great food. The service we received was quick and personable. If you are staying at one of the many hotels in downtown ATL, Rays would be an easy choice.

The food was outstanding. The seafood tower and creamed corn were favorites. Service was good, being sat in the main bar area was a bit loud, but it did not affect the meal at all. We will definitely be back!

Steaks were good and lobster was great. Black garlic puree was overpriced and did not compliment the steak. Steak sauces were all tasty and a good value. Service was poor at best. The waiter did a great job at up selling products, but did not bring our cocktails (which were ordered first) until after we were finished with the appetizer, he did not refill water or cocktails, or clear dishes without prompts. We were at a 2- person table, which was rather small and became quickly cluttered with empty water bottles and dirty dishes. Our food was cooled by the time we were actually able to eat it as we didn't have any forks and had to ask another employee for silverware. We had to ask a manager walking by for assistance twice as well because our waiter was nowhere to be found. When paying over $400 for dinner for two, I expect to be able to eat my food when it is warm and more attentive service.

The diners at our table ordered the scallops, fried seafood platter, crabcakes and salmon. All seafood items were perfectly cook. The only drawbacks were the undercooked asparagus, and the use of corn in the relish for the crabcakes and the risotto that accompanied the scallops. The risotto was very dry not creamy. For dessert we enjoyed lemon butter cake, the red velvet cake and the Keylime pie. All three desserts were delicious and were enough to share.

It’s best to make reservations in advance because there was a line outside the front door waiting for seats. The ambience and food was great. It was date night for wifey and me. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Anna was awesome. The food was amazing!! Our reservation was for 800p and we arrived at 730. We were immediately taken to our table. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We adhered to the dress code but saw many guests that did not. Lot of sneakers and just casual. A great experience and definitely a comeback.

The wait was none existent to be seated however, we wanted to about 10 minutes or so before stopping someone to ask if we had a waiter. The waiter that stopped was nice enough to pick up our table and make sure we were okay.
