Experience the original RakiRaki Ramen experience at our first location located in Kearny Mesa—the epicenter of San Diego’s thriving Asian food scene. The lines out the door are worth the wait for Chef/owner, Junya Watanabe’s signature ramen recipes that blend the art of traditional ramen making with the highest quality ingredients available and a modern atmosphere. RakiRaki serves a wide variety of authentic ramen dishes and Japanese cuisine including tsukemen (dipping noodles), charcoal-fired yakitori, curry, ramen burgers, and specialty sushi rolls along with local craft beer and sake selections.

It was amazing we went for Oxtail Ramen for the celebration of a project's end and it was phenomenal.

Food delicious. Main issue is parking. Unless you are lucky you have to allow for lots of time to circle the lot or look for street parking,

Got placed at a table not in the main dining room. Waitress forgot about us. Customer seated after us were served before us.

Only 1 small thing - I believe I put my credit card down on the reservation to take care of payment, but we were still asked for a card at the end of our meal. Not sure if that's just a technological issue or an error on my end though

I've been before and it was great. I always pass by and it's busy. We decided to go again, something has changed. The broth was flavorless and the noodles seemed a lot thicker than in the past. We all ordered the Raki Raki and tailored it a little to our liking or as is. But this time it just didn't do it for me.

We were in the mood for ramen and tried this place after finding it through Google. I would definitely come back and recommend it! One of the best tasting ramen I’ve had!
