Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back. The "crave-worthy" and "global collective" menus & the team’s attentive and personal service are mixed with carefully-curated happy tunes which altogether create a positive-energy experience rarely found in a restaurant. Really crowded, extremely hot and humid. For the price of the food I expected better service. I wouldn’t go back unless maybe in the winter. The food was good but in general it was not a great experience.

We ordered what we thought was fish ( our fault ) as it was steak, which would have been OK except it was horrible looking. Burned to a crisp, which was weird because they did not ask how we liked it cooked ( which then we might have realized it was not fish). The salad that came with it was supposed to be Champagne Vinaigrette was in fact red hot chili pepper( I love hot but thought my mouth was on fire). We replaced with plain burgers( again not good) very very dry. Sorry because great staff and lovely venue, but it is a restaurant so food should count.

I didn’t know Quince Lakehouse even existed until I came across it on Open Table. Really liked it. The menu is creative, pulling from different parts of the globe. (The food was delicious.) The bar selection seemed varied and thorough, but since it was lunchtime and my employer isn’t real “three-martini-lunch” forward, I didn’t have anything from that menu. Our wait professional, Taylor, was superb. She is an excellent ambassador for the restaurant. I’ll definitely go back.

What staff was curt and dismissive. Seemed annoyed when we asked for anything and kept forgetting if we had ordered or what we ordered. It gets really hot as the sun goes down because the sun blasted us. I would recommend sitting in the middle of sitting outside on the patio.

Lovely experience since the moment Reece sat us. He was the sweetest as we were setting up for our birthday celebration! Quinton was our server and he pulled out all of the stops. Will definitely be back soon!

Lively patio with good view - go later when it cools down a bit. Good food. Decent selection of drinks. Fans with misters keep it a bit cooler but very humid.

The menu is very limited. The wine is wine I can purchase at HEB, and I’m always disappointed when a restaurant isn’t more adventurous with their wine menu. The building needs a serious overhaul, as it’s old and shabby. The food that we had was good, and the service was VERY good.
