    We had such a lovely night at Queenies! We got the eggplant chips, Squid, Japanese fried Chicken and the pork belly as well as all of their desserts and they were all amazing. There was live music, that wasn’t too loud, the waitresses were absolutely amazing (thank you!) and overall was just a lovely night.

    I was very much looking forward to the Queenies experience, having booked well in advance of arriving in Canberra. Queenis has a calm but sophisticated ambiance, is professionally staffed and not pretentious in any way. I took my aunt as a treat. She was absolutely delighted. We hadn’t eaten all day and one entree to share and a main each sated our hunger. Thank you for having us.

    The delivery of food was disorganised. The wait staff didn’t take into account that not all of us were sharing. One diner at our table waited for 90 mins for her meal, even though we asked wait staff twice if they could speed up the meal. The wait staff, were more focused on their laptops rather than looking at what the diners may require on their tables. We had to ask each time for our water jug to be replaced. With the cost of the meals, we expected far better service. The piano player was excellent and provided lovely ambience.

    The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly The food was delicious but we would have preferred an extra salad option eg caprese or Greek The piano playing and decor we’re great The doors were often left open which made it cold. I had to shut them

    Great group of musicians playing in the background and at a great volume that enabled people to chat at their tables. Service was very good and no question was too difficult for them. They new their products well. The setting was lovely inside and would cater for all ages. I will definitely be returning to Queenies when I am in Canberra again.

    Nice to find a place that is great for people with food intolerances. Fantastic food, wine, cocktails with amazing non-alcoholic options. All topped off with amazing service from a knowledgeable waiter.

    Queenies is becoming a destination restaurant for me all the way from Newcastle, that’s how good the food, wine and ambiance is! Third visit so far and we’ll be coming back.
