the service and the food were fine , nothing outstanding but fine, it was only fish and chips so its a bit hard to make it exciting

Booked for last night. Food was great unfortunately there were a rather rowdy crowd from a fund raiser from the function suite gathered round the public bar. I have mobility issues at the moment and trying to get passed them was near impossible. Service was good despite the crowd from the fund raiser blocking the access out of the restaurant.

The food was delicious. The only issues were I was not informed that there was a kind of garlic bread that came with my lasagna and I ordered more separately which was really not needed. The portion of Balmoral chicken Wellington was huge and my friend left quite a bit. A slightly smaller portion would be better. We were very happy with our meal though in general and the decor and atmosphere was great. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Should have read the website better. Was looking forward to having the tomahawk pork chop. Never realised the grill doesn’t open until night. Good food but I am not a burger or sandwich person. Will book for evening next time.

Good food, good choice, very good service, nice friendly efficient staff. Very reasonable prices especially drinks. Exceeded our expectations ate there twice in 5 days. Breakfasts were also very good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection to how we ordered them. The service was great we had a very attentive waitress. She observed things we needed before we had to ask. We would go again.

Delicious meal, sadly let down by parts of the service. Had to ask for empty glasses to be taken away, then again had to ask for plates to be removed after main, Thirty minutes after we finished. Too late for dessert. Shame as we enjoyed the evening.
