Quarter Acre, a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant combined with an upscale dining experience, is inspired by Chef Toby Archibald’s world travels and New Zealand roots. When you enter Quarter Acre, you will be transported to a place of warmth and character. A journey from the earthy green musk of the New Zealand rainforest to the cool blue of the Pacific Ocean.

The Culinary Experience:
Enjoy food prepared using both classic and modern techniques with a strong influence placed on local and national, seasonal produce. At the same time, global ingredients will also have their place at the table, in particular items from Toby’s home country of New Zealand, such as fresh seafood and unique meats and flavours.

When dining with us, Quarter Acre accepts cash, debit, and credit card. A 3.4% convenience fee will be added to all payments made by credit card.

Really nice experience from start to finish. The tartar, the lamb, the salmon all were unique, complex, and exceptional.

We went to for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. The restaurant is very stylish and quiet, but there were only a few couples dining at the same time. There is a very creative menu and we had an excellent meal. The service was terrific. We'll go back and I highly recommend!

Fabulous place to celebrate my husband's birthday! Excellent service, amazing food, wonderful time watching the chef plate all the dishes, and top notch ambience. Definitely would recommend this place!

Awesome experience. The Somm and servers are lovely and knowledgeable. The menu is surprising and the food was delicious. Absolutely will be back.

This is clearly one of the finest dining experiences in Dallas. A perfect restaurant for foodies. Decor was really great, too, with sensitivity to noise levels. The food is the star here. Innovative, excellent, interesting and well-presented. Cocktails and wine selection are the same. This is the kind of place you want to come back to again to try a new dish. Service was precise and well-informed. This restaurant prizes and achieves extreme competence. Where we felt there was room for more improvement was on hospitality. There were multiple missed opportunities to make us feel warm and cared for. No one of them was so significant to warrant a complaint, but in the aggregate we were left a bit cold. Examples include literally the temperature of the dining room (70 degrees), the refusal to provide more than one serving of bread, asking us to bring our own cocktails from the bar to our table, small-ish portion sizes (for Dallas), and too-swift clearing of plates and glasses that might have a bite or sip left on them to consume. It’s ok for staff to feel on edge in an effort to achieve perfection, but such agita should not be imposed on diners. That said, we had a good experience and plan to return. Hopefully to a more relaxed staff next time.
