Chef's Kaiseki Tasting Menu!

The Kaiseki Tasting Menu is 2 appetizers, 4 pieces of sashimi, 4 pieces of nigiri, miso soup and 1 maki, and 1 handroll per person and is $99/person.

We also offer 2 different sake pairings to complement the Tasting menu for
$50 (Standard)
$90 (Premium)

We are currently serving Beer, Sake, Whiskey, and Wine.

We require 24 hr advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
No call/no shows will be charged $50/person.

Leave it in the hands of the chefs and enjoy our Chef's Tasting Menu experience! The Chef's Kaiseki Tasting Menu will be appetizers, sashimi, nigiri, miso soup, and 1 maki, and 1 hand roll per person and this is $99/person and is available at the sushi bar or at the tables We require 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation or rescheduling. No calls/no shows without 24 hours notice will automatically incur a $50/person penalty. Please arrive at the scheduled time or please let us know if you are running late. We currently offer 2 sake pairings that complement this tasting menu.

Brought my friend for a birthday dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. Food was great. Really nice atmosphere. Cool art. Very warm and welcoming. Will be back!

Easily the best sushi and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Service was 200% and we had the best time. Worth the 5 hour drive - we will be back!! Thank you!

Super delicious omakase. They accommodated my allergies and everything was prepared beautifully. Loved the music and both chef and host were super fun. Definitely my new favorite sushi spot.

I had a little bit of a layover in Chicago and I decided to not eat Airport food, so I got a Lyft. So glad I did!! I had the Tasting and it was awesome, the fish was very good and they have the best Sushi Rice, It’s a bit sweet but a hint tart, great surprise. The chef and staff are welcoming and eager to please. Highly recommend!

I used to go here a lot and it was always consistently good. This time our experience was not great. The main chef was clearly overwhelmed so our omakase menu ended up being random food prepared by the other staff.

Hi Nick, We're sorry that you had this experience. The tasting menu is chef's choice, so not everyone will get the same things. The chef instead put in some special fish for your nigiri plate as he told you. Usually special fish is reserved for a la carte. He saw that you were waiting and wanted you and your family to get some food. Sometimes people have allergies and certain dislikes so the tasting is almost always going to be different depending on the day and the guests' preference. If you give us another chance, we would love to make it up to you. Thank Q.

I love sushi. And I typically prefer very plain, traditional sushi. That said, Q puts a modern spin on sushi, with adventurous mixes of ingredients and sauces and: It works! A really great meal. Lovely fish. Creative combinations and presentation. And knowledgeable, warm service. All in a casual, hip setting. Highly recommend.

Had great experience with omakase in Chicago so gave this one a try, but a bit disappointed. Liked the atmosphere, good place to chat with friends. Appetizers and sashimi were decent. However, when it comes to sushi, it really surprised me that they didn’t use sushi rice. It was also weird to see that our table were offered disposable chopsticks while tables at the bar had decent ones. Was an important dinner to celebrate something with a friend but the experience ended up to be awkward.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that you didn't have such a great experience. We didn't understand when you said we don't use sushi rice on our sushi. We use short grain sushi rice with 2 types of red vinegar and this is why our sushi rice is a bit of a brown color. Hope we clarified that we do use sushi rice, ours is just different from other restaurants. Thank Q.

We sat at the bar to watch the chefs make this gorgeous sushi. The staff was super friendly and offered to create custom rolls for us. It's a quiet, simple vibe and the food speaks for itself. Highly recommend!!

Q is an absolute “A”. Super friendly and fun staff. Jin behind the sushi counter is an absolute master. Don’t even think of ordering “ala carte”. Omakase is a must.

We had an amazing experience at Q Sushi! Mike gave excellent service, super friendly and knowledgeable with our drinks. You can tell that the chefs really took their time with the courses they served. Everything was beyond our expectations and we will definitely go again.

We went for the omakase experience and it was outstanding. Great value for the price point. Quality, flavor, and presentation of the food were exceptional. In addition it was so fun watching the chef and his team working behind the counter and attending to the customers. Love their food, love their people, will definitely go back!

They never gave us a menu for our Omakase tasting. After going through the yelp pictures when we got home we saw that we never got oyster shooters or scallops-It looked like they forgot two dishes for our Omakase. We also were initially also charged 100 dollars for a bottle of sake when the price on the menu is $50. I had to complain to have them adjust to the correct price. We felt taken advantage of because we were drinking. Definitely will tell our friends who were curious about this new spot.

I want to gatekeep this place so bad but they’re so good I have to talk about it. The staff were so nice and cool and friendly. The food was phenomenal especially the duck. Would absolutely go back. 1000/10.
