Food was ok, a bit dry & very expensive. service was very disappointing! Waited 25 mins for a “baguette” & was charged for it after asking for it to be taken care of & the manager said no. It came out after our mains arrived when it should’ve been delivered way before with our appetizers.Pretty disappointed.

Delicious steaks - we ordered the $200 Cowboy steak and it did not disappoint. Great serving size, grilled medium rare to perfection! Crispy mashed was the best side. Two layer lasagna wasn’t our favourite but it was still yummy. Our friend is a Celiac and our server, Janelle, was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave her great suggestions for gluten free options. Highly recommend for a special night out.

We enjoyed an evening out with our friends, we understand when a restaurant is new that there will be hiccups but, our server brought a bottle of wine and said she would come back with glasses and open. We waited 20 mins for her to come back and then she didn’t know how to open, wrecked the cork and they had to bring a new bottle. Our friend ordered the Rib eye steak medium rare and it came blue rare. He had to wait for them to cool a new steak while we enjoyed our meals and ate after we were done. We will try again 6 months from now and give another review. They did comp us with a dessert for the delays

Food was overall fairly good. The prices are a little inflated for what you get. The gyoza was good but not worth 22$ for the presentation. Our server was a nice but a little absent minded. We had to constantly remind her of what we ordered. But the place is bumping! It has a lot of potential. The shrimp we're delicious along with the burger and fries. Just needs some time to smooth out the bumps.

The burger was good, better than most. The margherita pizza was weird and disappointing. Pesto is a dumb idea and the crust was incredibly soggy; no crispness as there should be. You guys have a long way to go just to match Paninins. And I bought a baguette from the bakery: just because it’s shaped like a stick does not mean it’s a baguette. It was more like a Costco baguette than a Parisian baguette like you can get at Bonjour Boulangerie. Overall LOCA seems to do lots of things OK, but nothing exceptional. I’d rather make multiple stops (like Spinellis for deli stuff) and get exceptional than visit LOCA for the convenience but be disappointed in the product.

Ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Beet salad with prawn and bacon skewer was amazing. Great service. Price was on high side, but no problem paying a little more for great service and food. Wine selection was reasonably priced. We did find it a bit loud for our liking. Will be back sooner than later.

They were out of just about every item we attempted to order. Ended up having a drink and leaving. So much for an anniversary dinner date
