I love the food. The host was SO kind. The wait staff was slow, but nice. I sat outside in perfect SD weather.

We had Royal as our server and he literally made our entire night fantastic. Between ordering all the margs at happy hour and recommending the best tacos and flautas, we had a perfect night at Puesto. Thank, Royal, and Puesto totally delivered!

A lot of hype and a disappointing experience. If you are looking for genuine Mexican cuisine, skip it. A very paltry serving of avocado not made tableside. No frozen margaritas, Mexican beer or sangria. A very limited menu. Decent but overpriced tacos. Stingy with the chips. The salad was tasteless. The waitress was a wind up doll with no understanding of pacing. She served my husband’s order while we waited as other 15 minutes for ours. Inattentive, rude and not trained. The restsurant’s saving grace: nice outdoor dining ( unimpressive dining room) and the sharp, sophisticated host. They need to fast track her to manager or she needs to find a restaurant worthy of her presence and professionalism.

The server was absent minded. He forgot to fill our drink order, then when reminded, he gave the wrong drinks to the wrong people. Three of the four of us ordered the same side dish but only two came out of the kitchen... But three were on our bill. He was slow with checking on us, forgot to take our dinner order when apps were delivered and was casual about "maybe we have coffee, sometimes the machine is busted". This was a business dinner and we got a good laugh about the mediocre service for a bill of nearly $50 per person without any alcohol.

My review may not be fair as they were renovating the inside and seating was limited. When we arrived they had us stand in a corner area to order a drink and wait for our table. No worries, but there were 10 plus open tables and we had a reservation?? Seemed weird to stand around waiting on a server/hostess that was swamped while other servers were hanging out waiting on tables. (Not serving, but waiting). Food and service once seated were amazing! Margs were good but not $20 awesome.

Excellent food, though a bit on the pricey side. Service was quick. Good outdoor setting, although I would have preferred to eat inside, but there some renovations going on. I can see myself coming back here again.

I was really excited to bring my work team here for dinner yesterday but the entire inside is under renovation which reduced their menu to just tacos and chips. They don’t even have dessert to offer. Now don’t get me wrong the tacos were really darn good. I’m feeling slighted that they didn’t tell me about during the 5 times I spoke to them while reserving my group reservation. So if you want just tacos, then go. Bring a jacket because you can’t sit inside.

While the staff was friendly, they were clearly understaffed. It took a while to get our food and drinks. I watched one particular employee who cleared tables, poured water, moved chairs, even met her in the bathroom while she was cleaning it.

The food and drinks were delicious and the wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. Prices are a bit high but it was worth it and I would go again for sure.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our children and loved everything we tried. I don’t say this lightly…our server was probably the best server we have met at a restaurant! She was knowledgeable, friendly, quick and knew what are questions would be before we asked. Truly amazing service and food!

We had a reservation. We let the hostess know we had to eat quickly to get back to our conference. She told us it was no problem and sat us. We sat at the table for 15 minutes and no one came by. We had to get up and run to get something quick before our next lecture. As we walked out they asked us if we seated ourselves. They acted like we just walked in and sat down without letting anyone know. It’s got a cute courtyard, though.

Our waiter wasn’t hospitable. He didn’t really want to serve us and we specifically went there for our shared birthday because it was our absolute favorite restaurant. My sister was in from out of state and wasn’t thrilled with the service on our birthday but the tacos were absolutely delicious.

We have been to many Ouesto locations and love them all, this one was no exception. The hostess was very accommodating and allowed us to sit inside even though our reservations were for an outside table. It was chilly and she made it work. Our waitress was very friendly and had a great recommendation. The kitchen was also able to edit ours kids plates to be plain for our picky eaters. Love this location and easy parking. We’d come again on our next trip in a heartbeat!
