Our table felt very isolated on the outskirts of the restaurant and it was very windy as the wind was coming right into the courtyard and there was no barrier between the wind and our table. It took a while to get the heat lamps lit, because they were all out of gas. Needless to say we’re really cold for most of our meal. The place was packed, and we had to wait for the table we had even though we had a reservation and showed up early. There was a concert at the Rady Shell as well as the Rock and Roll Marathon, so there wasn’t really an option to move tables. It would be nice if they prioritized the better tables for people who made the reservations. It wasn’t the server’s fault, service and food was great, but it might be a good idea to make sure the heat lamps are operable and ready to turn on at the start of each shift.

Had a 5:00 reservation for 2 but weren't seated until 5:30. They said they were running behind but 30 minutes after - why even take reservations? Got a drink the bar that was great and on point, friendly, fast bartenders. Service at the table was slow and awkward. Server said food was taking longer than expected. Tacos and guac were good but small and overpriced. I'm always leery of any mexican restaurant that doesn't provide any free chips and salsa! With so many options in San Diego I wouldn't go back.

Great outdoor dining. Chips & salsa are great, coconut margarita is the best. Aguachile is awesome. All tacos were great.

Great food! Great location! We were celebrating my birthday and the service felt rushed. Would have stayed for another round of drinks if the waitress didn’t push us out.
