Puckett’s has a long history dating back to the 1950s when it started as a small grocery store in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Since then, our focus has been on offering excellent food and Southern hospitality to both new and longtime friends. With six restaurants now, our commitment to this goal remains unwavering. Puckett’s is renowned for featuring live, local music and serving beloved Southern dishes such as meat-and-three options and our famous slow-smoked BBQ in a relaxed, homely setting. We ate outside and honestly it was filthy. Food under the tables, trash on the ground and ants climbing the wall adjacent to the table. And the flies were a nuisance.

The Piggy Mac was a big brick of dry mac w/very little piggy, which was also dry. I’ve had it several times at the Nashville location and it was good but not at Hendersonville. The Blueberry Lemonade was good,the green beans too. Service was good.

First time going to breakfast at Puckett’s and we will definitely be back. Great service and food was delish.

We got there at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Music didn't start until we were leaving.

New place, still needs to ramp up the food. Brisket was dry, no smoke ring, seemed over cooked. Good flavor though. Smoked sausage was ok, hasbrown casserole has peppers and more of a southwest taste. Potato salad was not great to me, kind of wet and too creamy for me. Baked beans were good but I've had better. Decor is great, Faith was our server and she was really good even though we had lots of special requests in our group of 7

Our waitress, Mary, was incredibly attentive and kind. She checked on us throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and have what we needed. Our food came out in a timely manner as well. My mom said it was great to have a taste of Nashville right here in Hendersonville. Can’t wait to come back!

Enjoyed our breakfast at PUCKETTs. Many people don’t realize they’re open for breakfast, but we’re enjoying it. The food is delicious and the dining hall was somewhat quiet …a nice way to start the day.

I’m glad it wasn’t our first time dining at Puckett’s because we would t be back. More training for the new servers is necessary. Our server was super sweet and I just hope they do better with their training. I let her know it wasn’t her fault and tipped her very well, and hopefully they do better by her and the rest of the staff.
