Puckett’s has a long history dating back to the 1950s when it started as a small grocery store in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Since then, our focus has been on offering excellent food and Southern hospitality to both new and longtime friends. With six restaurants now, our commitment to this goal remains unwavering. Puckett’s is renowned for featuring live, local music and serving beloved Southern dishes such as meat-and-three options and our famous slow-smoked BBQ in a relaxed, homely setting.     New place, still needs to ramp up the food. Brisket was dry, no smoke ring, seemed over cooked. Good flavor though. Smoked sausage was ok, hasbrown casserole has peppers and more of a southwest taste. Potato salad was not great to me, kind of wet and too creamy for me. Baked beans were good but I've had better. Decor is great, Faith was our server and she was really good even though we had lots of special requests in our group of 7

    Our waitress, Mary, was incredibly attentive and kind. She checked on us throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and have what we needed. Our food came out in a timely manner as well. My mom said it was great to have a taste of Nashville right here in Hendersonville. Can’t wait to come back!

    Enjoyed our breakfast at PUCKETTs. Many people don’t realize they’re open for breakfast, but we’re enjoying it. The food is delicious and the dining hall was somewhat quiet …a nice way to start the day.

    I’m glad it wasn’t our first time dining at Puckett’s because we would t be back. More training for the new servers is necessary. Our server was super sweet and I just hope they do better with their training. I let her know it wasn’t her fault and tipped her very well, and hopefully they do better by her and the rest of the staff.

    our server did not check in on us and we sat with empty glasses for a majority of our meal. we ordered an appetizer that never came as well so we had to get it taken off which sucks because we were looking forward to trying the fried green beans. The restaurant is still new to Hendersonville and so are the servers but was hopping for a better experience. I would recommend a friend to visit in a couple of months when they get all of their kinks worked out.

    Breakfast was delicious! Everything came out exactly as ordered. Just wish they had some potatoes without peppers and onions. Maybe add more potato options to the menu. We’ll definitely be going back to try out the dinner menu.

    Good food. Great entertainment. I really enjoyed the little band “Cross Bridges”. They played many great 70s era country/pop songs that brought back many memories. Made for a great date night with the wife.

    I made a reservation for 1pm for a party of 7. We arrived at 12:52 and were not seated until almost 1:20. It was busy but the whole point of a reservation is to secure a table ahead of time. Apparently they were confused by the number 7 and thought we had 7 plus a highchair, however they never asked us that, they just assumed and that’s why we had to wait so long. For the record we had 6 adults and 1 child (6+1=7) Also, I noticed several servers seemed highly stressed and the hostess ladies were also on edge. The food was excellent and our server did a great job. The restroom was out of paper towels to dry your hands.
