Puckett’s has a long history dating back to the 1950s when it started as a small grocery store in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Since then, our focus has been on offering excellent food and Southern hospitality to both new and longtime friends. With six restaurants now, our commitment to this goal remains unwavering. Puckett’s is renowned for featuring live, local music and serving beloved Southern dishes such as meat-and-three options and our famous slow-smoked BBQ in a relaxed, homely setting. They were out of three things we ordered. When the food was brought to the table one person’s sides arrived but we were told the fried chicken was not ready. We eventually had a chance to ask the server to check on the chicken. When it was delivered to the table all his sides were cold. They do not have the kinks worked out. We will give it 3 months and maybe give it another try. Very disappointed.

We split the Whole Farm meal, which is a lot of meat with two sides; our choice was mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. The vegetables were hot and fresh. The BBQ brisket was moist, I love the chicken, ribs, and BBQ. The cornbread is a small spicy cake. We missed out on the cherry cobbler because they ran out. That's just another reason to go back. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We made a reservation, so we had no wait time. We also paid the check on our phone, so there was no wait time. We took home enough good for another meal. It's a great addition to Hendersonville, TN.

This was my second time at a Puckett’s (first at the Hendersonville location), but my husband has been to Puckett’s numerous times. He loves taking clients from out of town to eat there, usually the downtown Nashville location. He said the chicken tasted funny and not at all like he’s had before. He also said his Bloody Mary was straight tomato juice and not good. Maybe it was the time of the evening as we had to resort to an 8PM reservation. I would go back for the skillet mac n cheese though! Best thing I had! Maybe since this is a new location they are still working out the kinks?

This was our first time at Pucketts Hendersonville. It was a Sunday evening and we went primarily for the entertainment, Parker Hastings. The atmosphere Was enjoyable and the entertainment was amazing. Food was average and service was average.

Went for a late lunch with friends. Server was kind and friendly. Food was very tasty, catfish was delicious, country chicken fried steak was a large portion. Pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and fries were yummy.

The brisket was good but not the best quality. It was very fatty all through. The collard green were very good along with the cowboy cavier but the portions were so small for the price. A silver dollar piece of corn cake was barely enough to taste. A pricey lunch. The blackberry tea was good but many seeds. I would strain.

Reservation system for our group of 6 had a major problem, reservation was for 12:00, did not get seated until 12.50PM even after agreeing to sit outside on patio. Did not get any text messages at all.

I think I had the best scrimp and grits I’ve ever had. But the problem was I think our server forgot to put my order in and once my food came the whole table was done eating. Still seems like they’re figuring things out here at this location but they have some good things going on here. Interested to see how things go in the future. We made a reservation at 8pm and lots of tables were looking around for their server and looked frustrated. Staff and servers need to be more tentative to their tables. Our server forgot to bring out our Togo order as well so we had to ask for that after we got the check. Drinks were good though too!

This is not a good review but an honest one. The amount of food compared to the price and presentation of the “Piggy Mac” did not meet expectations. The flavor was good, but the meal was not a big enough portion for what it is worth. Another meal we order was the “Vegetarian Portabella Burger.” The burger was drenched in grease from the mushroom to where all ingredients and bottom bun either fell apart or became unappetizing. The primary waitress gave my party attitude every time she interacted with us. She was training someone. We had excellent service from the kind trainee as opposed to the trainer. The trainee delivered the meals with every quality you would expect from a waitress or waiter who deserves incredible tips. The trainer did not wait 5 minutes after we received our meals when she asked if we wanted our receipt. We should not feel rushed out of a restaurant. I can only understand that when they are busy but we visited an hour before the dinner rush. I clearly stated I wanted to order one fruit tea to just try it but they didn’t listen and brought out teas for the entire table. A quarter of the about 12 ounce tea was unfiltered seeds and pulp. I almost choked twice on blackberry and I assume pomegranate seeds when trying to enjoy their “signature fruit tea” since it was unfiltered. We did order a cobbler of the day to go since the blackberry sounded good. To our surprise we got a scoop of blackberry cobbler larger than the Piggy Mac meal we ordered along with a scoop of ice cream included. Overall, expect a small portion for your meals but to pay around $10 to $20 for them. Be very clear with the servers when ordering. Maybe you have to ask for your fruit tea to be strained. The dessert we had once we left was the best part! I hope other people have a better almost $50 experience there then what my group had witnessed.

Food was ok Salads were good fried pickles very salty. Smoke platter ok sausage undercooked. Chicken fried stead was half the size of the breading half was hollow. Plus 3 tbsps of gravy not enough ask for more. Mac and cheese was good. Its was generally meh!

We went for brunch and check-in was a breeze! The staff was friendly including both hostesses! Our server was wonderful and attentive. Food had some great flavors and good portions for the cost. Highlights: grits, breakfast burrito

Kate was a pleasure. Food is over seasoned for me and that says a lot. Had reservations but waited 15 minutes. Understand it’s still in the soft open stage.

We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday. We are so happy with the ambience, the food and our server was so good! She engaged with the teens, complimented the cake etc. And the best part, the cost was reasonable! We will be celebrating new milestones and birthdays there ! Thank you

I absolutely love Pucketts. It is has such a good country home feel to it. The food is expensive but worth it once in a while. It was my first time. The only problem was a friend of mine that suggested it had a terrible experience with the food. She has been to several and had looked forward to her dinner all day. The chicken was super spicy. A whole lot more spicy than it had ever been at the other Pucketts. I do understand that menu / tastes may very from restaurant to restaurant. But it was so hot she almost choked and did choke up her water. She mentioned to the waiter several times about her dissatisfaction and disappointment. I feel that the waiter should have offered her something else or not charged her for it. She did not eat any of the meal. The waiter was very nice. Other than that. I have nothing but amazing thoughts on Pucketts and will be back.

They ask me when I made the reservation what was the special occasion and we said birthday. Why do you even ask if you offer nothing for that person. That was the first issue. I ordered the ribeye steak and ask for medium rare. The last time I remember medium rare looking a bit pink is the center not this steak. The bunch of grizzle on the steak was probably medium rare but the steak meat itself was full grey and a bit chewy not happy with the steak at all and expected better for a $30.00 steak. My wife had the blackened catfish and whoever cooks the catfish needs to understand when it's blackened, you can taste it. It appears there was not enough seasoning or whatever they use to blacken it. Oh, my steak was not blackened well enough either and we paid an extra $1.00 each meal. The potato salad and coleslaw were the best parts of the meal unfortunately that was awful expensive potato salad and coleslaw. My take so far. This is an average restaurant nothing special. Do not bother coming here for a special occasion you get absolutely nothing. Not sure if this is because they are new but I was not impressed on this outing. I'm afraid to stop there again fearing the same-ol-same.

My husband and I were very dissatisfied with our meal at Puckett’s in Hendersonville! I ordered southern fried chicken, and it was very undercooked. Blood was oozing! I will stay with Texas Roadhouse!

Unfortunately, we were not impressed with Puckett’s in Hendersonville. Management & staff lacked with hospitality skills. Our server lacked on filling drinks at our table and the ones around us. The food was okay, but we were not overly impressed. I hope that this just happened to be an off day.

The noise level was due to the band. We sat right next to the stage and loved it, some might have thought it was too loud but we were able to continue our conversation while they played. The server Alexys was amazing, she did so well checking on us and making sure things were good, even though the place was packed.

I was nervous about coming on a Friday night so soon after the opening, but they have it together. We were promptly greeted and ushered to our table (obviously we had reservations…highly recommended for weekends). Our server was friendly and energetic. If you’ve been to the other Puckett’s restaurants, be prepared to be impressed with the scale of this location. It’s the largest that I’ve been to (and I’ve been to Columbia, Franklin, Nashville and Murfreesboro). It’s clean and inviting (which is to be expected for a new restaurant). Parking was abundant. The food was delicious. It’s what I expected from Puckett’s. I ordered the fried chicken with French fries. Both were delivered piping hot. We decided to splurge on a dessert and split the Deep Fried Brownie. It was spectacular. We couldn’t finish it (and I had saved half of my fried chicken order to take home). Checkout was a breeze with the QR code on the receipt. The price was shockingly reasonable given how full I was. Not only will we be back, but this will be a “go to” choice for when we want to stay local while dining out. We’re so glad they are in Hendersonville.

Our service was outstanding! Waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted with our meal. The BBQ Plater served up great portions. Loved the smoky flavor on the meat and cole slaw was good. Baked beans were ok. Friends had the burgers and they raved about them! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes!
