A little history… Have you ever walked into a place, and you instantly feel at home? Well, Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant is that sort of place. Founded in the 1950s, Puckett's served as a country store to several communities in Williamson County. It has always been the place to buy some food, grab a good homemade sandwich and catch up on the day's events in the world and at home. In 2004, Puckett's opened in Historic Downtown Franklin, and now in 2010, Downtown Nashville as well. Southern breakfasts with local, organic eggs, award winning burgers, plate lunches,fresh salads, cherry wood smoked BBQ pulled pork and ribs, and homemade desserts, make every meal memorable. Add live entertainment from some of Nashville's greatest artists and songwriters and you have the complete Puckett's experience! Food was excellent, the show was so much fun. The songwriters were very engaging and we enjoyed the evening. Love bringing out-of-town guests to dine here.

Always love Puckett’s service and ambiance! Love the music. Such a great spot. It has been a tradition to stop there when on our road trips. The food quality has gone downhill. More chain quality now instead of homecooking like i have always remembered. Portions tiny and everyone’s meats (meatloaf and whiskey chicken’s) semi dry very little sauce. Corn cakes have also shrunk in size and were hard. We will still come to Puckett’s when in town but if this is the norm then we may switch to drinks and/or dessert only and eating dinner elsewhere. 😫 The hostess was awesome and so was our server!!!

Smoke meatloaf is THE dish! It was loud inside but we ate at an outdoor table and it was wonderful.

My date and I had a outstanding experience. The meatloaf was not what we were accustomed to.

Today’s dining experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite being with a group of four, none of our meals were enjoyable; they lacked flavor, some were served cold, and the quality was noticeably subpar. We were informed that the restaurant was under new management, but unfortunately, the changes made to the menu were not for the better. The once amazing Mac and cheese was now unpleasant, and the chicken was dry and rubbery. However, our waitress Sara stood out as a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing meal. She provided excellent service and was incredibly sweet. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the manager. Despite our dissatisfaction with the food, the manager initially refused to remove the untouched portions from our bill, even though we had ordered extra based on previous positive experiences. After persistently asking twice, the manager eventually acquiesced, but failed to personally address our complaint or check in with us, resulting in poor customer service. Overall, this experience was a waste of money and left us feeling extremely disappointed. It’s unlikely that we will return to the restaurant after this disappointing visit.
