Located in Downtown Summerlin on the second floor in the Dining Arroyo, Public School is a fun, school-themed gastropub that features a wide selection of local craft beers, classic drafts and craft cocktails. PS delivers "An Education in the Art of Food & Beer." We offer a chef-driven menu that is made from scratch using only the freshest quality ingredients. "Recess" (aka Happy Hour) is held Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm. Brunch is in session every Saturday and Sunday until 3pm.

We ordered the burgers, fries, chicken wrap and mac and cheese. The burgers were burnt and dried out. They were not very tasty and honestly awful. They had no flavor, were not juicy and delicious! It appears that the kitchen cooks a lot of burgers prior and whenever they get an order for burgers, put on cheese and reheat them. There were no condiments on them. The Mac and Cheese it was cold and also didn’t have any flavor. The chicken wrap was bland. I did not enjoy my eating experience here! Beware the food lacks any substance!!

I'm very disappointed with Public School 702's website. I made reservations for our party to celebrate Mother's Day, based upon their advertised menu on their website. We were really excited to try all the good looking food. However, once we were seated, we were told they only serve a brunch menu from 12 pm to 3 pm on weekends. Nowhere on their website could I find they only served brunch on the weekends during 12 pm to 3 pm. You can imagine how disappointed all of us were. The manager came over and I showed her the website and we (both me and the manager) could not find anything about how brunch is the only menu available between 12 pm and 3 pm on the weekends. There was a kids menu available in which they made accommodations for our three kids we had in our party. However, the adults had to make do with a subpar, limited menu. Fast forward to receiving our food, we had to send our wings back because they were not properly cooked. The menu advertised them as crispy wings but they were not crispy at all. My chilaquiles was not good (overpowering lime flavor on the verde sauce) and they forgot the brownie in our brownie sundae dessert. If it wasn't for our incredible server Jennifer, we really would've left there very upset. Fortunately Jennifer had such a great personality and empathized with our situation. I hope this restaurant will consider my feedback and will make some updates on their website to advertise a brunch only menu on the weekends from 12 pm to 3 pm. If I had known that beforehand, we would've come after 3 pm to enjoy their full menu or made other restaurant reservations for Mother's Day. Upon leaving the restaurant, I noticed the one place where brunch was advertised for the weekends during 12 pm to 3 pm and it was posted on their window right outside their entrance. After this experience, I can't see myself recommending this place to my friends or family. But if you decide to come here and get Jennifer as your server, you'll be in good hands.

We had a a party of 4. The food and atmosphere was very good. Server was very friendly and attentive. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars overall was because they were out of 3 different items we wanted to order. I realize it was a Saturday night but it was only 6:30 and frustrating when the server had to keep coming back to tell us to order something else.

My friend and I have stopped here each time we drive through summerlin. PB&J burger is always good. Clean place with friendly staff.

Always a favorite!! Best brunch ever- awesome drinks and buffalo cauliflower is a must try. I usually sit with Jen, who is the sweetest! Highly recommend!

They did not look short staffed but oddly they had a diff wait staff waiting each table, so odd no one had a section. They were super unorganized, our appetizer came after our meal ended, gathering they forgot. Drinks were tequila rather than the vodka we ordered. Nothing worked that night…disappointed!

Best patio in Summerlin, fun food, great service. Jenn was an amazing server and the Buffalo cauliflower was one of the best appetizers around.

Place was too loud near bar area for a conversation. Restaurant allows dogs to enter and wait in waiting area. Health issue. Food was average. Our server was really good, seems like he had alot of tables to be responsible for.

The food was tasty and service was quick. I went there when it was not busy, which made the dining experience all the better. My dirty martini was made just the way I like it. And the mushroom pizza was good!

Always good -- We usually sit at the bar, but table service is great too. Sometimes they are too busy and slightly understaffed, but 95% of the time, service and food are great.

Cold food, ridiculous service. Worst experience ever! Drinks were awful. A waste of $$$ My food came out after my entire table was done eating and cold. When I notified server it was a disaster

We had a great meal at Public School. We had the naked wings and Brussel spouts for appetizers which were both very good. Our meals were good. I had salmon on a bowl. It was nice that they would put any protein on any salad or bowl. It’s a great place to get a quick bite before a movie or a show. This is the second time we’ve been and will definitely be back.

Public School is one of my favorite places to go for bar food. I'm very fond of the impossible Burger. No one does it better. I'm sorry that the atlanta restaurant closed, but I'm glad that it's still open in summerlin. There's a lot of good choices. I find it a pretty low-key place for a bar.

Whoa! What a fabulous experience! The entire staff is AMAZING! From Hostess greeting Judy provided to our server Devon, Aniya the food runner, and the GM, Guy who came to check on us twice! The chef even came over to make sure our food was to our liking. Unbelievable customer service from the entire staff! Thank you for a wonderful night! Cheaper than buying groceries, and a fun night with great service! We’ll definitely be back!

Came here specifically for the PB&J burger. Honestly, it was underwhelming. I've had many PB&J burgers before, and while this one was decent, it was lacking. Their version is a burger, with peanut butter, habanero jam, and bacon. That's it. The bacon was crumbled so fine that you couldn't tell there was bacon on the burger. There was absolutely no taste of sweet from the jam. The peanut butter was great. What I expected was your standard burger...cheese, LTO, pickles, regular sliced bacon and PB&J. The wife ordered the tomato soup, and said it was amazing. Yes, I would recommend Public School 702, but not the PB&J burger.

Went on a quiet weekday evening, service was excellent. Our waiter made several excellent suggestions and was always available and helpful. The food was creative and delicious, as were the cocktails.

Hyped the place up to my kids based on photos on website. They sat us near the front door/ in the bar area away from anything that resembled a school. The menues were not like notebooks. The food was bland. Dinner for 3 was $90. Not worth the 10 minutes it takes to find parking.

Outstanding service for our group of 9. Our server was very attentive, responsive and fun! We went on Sunday afternoon and there was a local musician. Food is always good with a rotating menu from their craft kitchen.

Well you see it all started when we got there, all the employees were welcoming! The atmosphere was outstanding! We wanted to sit outside on the patio and it was beautiful! The food and service was amazing, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend eating here 10/10!!!!

The food was great but the service was absolutely terrible, the server wouldn’t stop asking us if we are ordering shots. He hardly ever came by, he didn’t refill our drinks he ignored us constantly. We asked to split the bill into 3 checks and he was like nope not doing that I don’t know how to do that. Didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Just overall not a good experience

Public School - Las Vegas is a great spot. Welcoming & lively vibe, friendly & present service, solid beer list, and a delicious menu. Our favorite bite is their Backyard BBQ Burger. I recommend Public School - Las Vegas.

Bad service, bad presentation, bad food. The server knew they were understaffed and that our large party was being overlooked so he took some things off of the bill and gave us free dessert. Nice gesture to save his tip but will not be returning.

Went there yesterday for my Mom’s birthday. It was nice that the hostess called us 30mins prior to our reservation to see if we wanted to sit outdoors or inside. Hostess and server were very friendly and hospitable. It did took awhile for the server to take our orders tho & we did mention it’s a bday celebration; we requested and order for a cake or slice of cake in our rsvp note, mention it to the hostess & server as well but they didn’t acknowledge the request or at least let us know that they don’t have it avail. It was a little disappointing coz we wanted a lil surprise for Mom. Overall experience was good but not that great. Good for chilling: burgers & drinks were good!
