The food at PS21 Restaurant was exceptional - each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a dinner. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food justified the cost. I highly recommend trying their escargot, the filet with whipped potatoes and grilled cauliflower - it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

This is a hidden gem!!!! Chef Phillipe is a French culinary genius! Forget any other French restaurant in Houston, instead RUN to PS21 (the name and the exterior of the restaurant are a little bit deceiving) but inside you will find a Parisian heaven!!!!!! I’m still dreaming of the lobster bisque, steak frites and the grand marnier soufflé……mmmmm

THE best onion soup ever!!! Excellent!!! Grand Marnier Soufflé was excellent! Chef Philippe visited our table twice to make sure everything was perfect….it was!!! I only ask to beef up the Bordeaux wine selection!!! Ha!!!

I have had several great meals at PS21. Chef Philippe Schmidt is a master of traditional French bistro styles-- the best food of its kind I've had in Houston by far. The atmosphere is relaxed --an elegant yet "neighborhood" vibe. No hype, or annoying dance club beats-- this is a place where you can linger over delicious food and drinks and lose track of time. It is shockingly underappreciated, perhaps partly because of its somewhat hidden (though still quite accessible) location-- which means that you likely won't have to fight crowds. And you hear each other at the table without shouting! Everything I've had on the menu-- from appetizers to dessert has been superb. Especially love the escargot, the sardine rillettes and the steak frites! Great specialty cocktails as well. Waitstaff Karina is a delight as well!

Karina is AMAZING! She has served us here twice and is so great , kind and helpful. The food is outstanding , the ambiance is incredible , and the Chef is extraordinary! I highly recommend the Restaurant!!!!! We always look forward to coming back. Our family was visiting us from France and they approved!

We selected this restaurant because of the innovative French menu. For appetizers, our group tried the Croque Monsieur, Trio of Dips and the Sardine Rillettes and all 3 were flavorful starters and great for sharing. The next round before entrees included French Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque, and Childhood Chicken Wings. The braised wings were the standout, very moist and served with a roasted bone marrow which was excellent. For entrees, the bouillabaisse, crispy salmon and roasted chicken were tried and all were good. My husband would have preferred a clearer & lighter bouillabaisse broth, the pastry on the salmon was not crispy but mushy but the presentation was beautiful, and the roasted chicken was a solid dish with fantastic mashed potatoes. For dessert, we selected the Grand Marnier Souffle and the Floating Island and both these were enjoyed. The staff was attentive and the ambiance was nice. One observation which may seem overly critical was that the restroom paper towel holders were all empty, and when I reported this, I was told the owner is ordering more. Frankly, I think a restaurant of this caliber and price range should have solved this problem by running to the grocery store for a few rolls of paper towels for their guests.

Didn’t reserve a table even though we had reservation, so we got seated in empty back room. Food was very inconsistent: appetizers were not fresh and served lukewarm, everyone’s main course was really excellent, and then dessert was so so. Service was pretty bad in all respects.
