Proabition sits in the center of the fashion hub L.A Fashion District. We feature a progressive American/California cuisine. We offer a year round alfresco dining experience with an aesthetic indoor outdoor enclosed patio. Our beverage program offers a robust collection of spirits and truly artisanal products notably Whiskey, Mezcal and Tequila. Weekend dinner experiences feature live music, fire dancers, our Speakeasy the "Monocole" and culinary and beverage experiences.

Please note that we take every request under consideration, however, we can't guarantee that all requests will always be met.

We offer valet parking Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm - 2 am and Sundays from 11 am - 6 pm.
Parking structure is available across our venue.

My son and I had brunch with my wife for Mother's Day. The service was excellent and wait staff was continually asking us whether we needed anything. The food and drinks were excellent as well. I ordered Avocado toast and their delicious Brussels sprouts appetizer. My wife had Salmon toast and my son had a burger and fries. The reason for the low rating was a musty, stale water, type stench that was immediately noticeable upon entering. The restaurant also operates as a bar/night club. The owners would benefit by hiring a plumber to check for a leak somewhere in the establishment. The establishment and restrooms appeared clean so it's a shame if they don't resolve this problem.

Vibe and service were good. But too many negatives. Bad smell in bar area and downstairs. Food was unfortunately horrible. Served either cold or waaaay overcooked. I have been sick since eating there yesterday. Fun place for drinks and appetizers but not a meal. The best part of our experience was our outstanding server, Valeria.

I am quite disappointed in this spot. We arrived for my daughter’s birthday to Down the Rabbit hole being CLOSED. This is the whole reason we came to this spot. They don’t accommodate for the closure at all. We had at least 4 people look at our reservation to seat us which I appreciated. They say their reservations have been low. Well, the following will explain why. The appetizers are good here. I was feeling quite positive after having the Hamache and Brussels, fries. The drinks are cool, nothing amazing but not basic. The entrees however, need ALOT of work. The chicken is bland or not balanced depending on the dish. Queso appetizer tastes like pizza instead of Queso. They have no acceptable vegetarian options in Los Angeles. The Rib eye was juicy but nothing special and not worth 62.00. No one was happy with their food beyond the appetizer. Tacos were just ok. The waiter seemed depressed but service was ok. Even the Happy Birthday you pay extra for was lackluster. The inside is cute and would be worth the visit if that speakeasy was open for drinks and appetizers only. We spent about 600.00 and this was the most lack luster birthday dinner establishment I have ever spent at.

We had the best customer service and dining experience tonight. Valerie and John were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The salmon was delicious. And the speakeasy was a treat.

Was expecting so much more unfortunately. Pictures are definitely overhyped location is super small not to mention in a horrible area SKID ROAD !!!!!!! Was so scared to park and get out of my car. Was there to celebrate boyfriends birthday made a reservation a head of time with note to let them know, didn’t get no birthday desert or anything. Food was good at least but good menu on here is completely different than at restaurant. I could’ve just gone to Kalaveras for the same experience.

The food here is very beautiful and very colorful. It does smell very good when you walk in because of the incense but the incense can be a little overwhelming if you’re close by to it. Our waitress was very very sweet , friendly , helpful and super busy . I have no complains about the service, but honestly, it feels like you’re just paying for the loud music and ambiance. Here is why… The tres leches French toast was beautiful and yummy , the bacon was too thick to eat and had a lot of fat when we asked for something other than bacon all they had was potatoes or eggs so we asked for eggs and she never came back with the eggs. She said that the cooks took forever to make them, so she was kind enough to take them off of the bill. we did order avocado toast for downstairs in the speakeasy area and it was fun down there and the drinks were expensive. One of the drinks was very delicious. The other one was horrible. I ordered a espresso martini. I’m used to the espresso martinis from Mi Piace Pasadena. This was the worst espresso martini I’ve ever ordered. The glass was tiny. It looked like it was for a child, and it was basically watery brown Vodka with chocolate milk . The parking was horrendous and I had to pay $25 for valet . I drove around the block 5 times hoping to find something . The parking lot next door was full.

We were super excited about seeing this restaurant for the vibe, but we had to have an earlier reservation and we were running a little late so we called to let the host know and they said they couldn’t guarantee our table but when we got there 5 to 10 minutes late, there was literally only two people in the entire restaurant. I felt the host could have let us known so we weren’t rushing. We ended up not eating there.

I don’t like the time limit that we have to eat the food we order. The waiter is so busy that he or she doesn’t come often to ask what you need so 90 minutes is not enough. The atmosphere is amazing you guys should have DJ Angie Again

We went on a Saturday night shortly after opening. Ambiance was great noise level was great and food was also delicious and the drinks was the star of the show. Would definitely return for a Sunday brunch

The manager was amazing. My sister has epilepsy; he kindly turned off the strobe lights for us as they can trigger seizures. The DJ was amazing. It was my mother's birthday and he took song request after song request. The food was amazing and the service was awesome.

I had a reservation and could not be sat down without the rest of my party. We were waiting for 2 more people that were stuck in traffic and we were worried our reservation would be canceled. Sergio was great and super accommodating when the rest of the party arrived. Great music, great drinks, food was okay but we were there for a good time.

Made a last minute reservation after LA Phil concert, the host/manager was great about getting us in for a light dinner around 10:15pm. He cleared a great table on the patio. The menu is somewhat spare but well executed -- from the salad to the tacos to the burger, everything was on point. And our server recommended the butter cake, which was everything.

If your looking for a place with a good vibe like that has food, drinks, music and hookah. Very similar to going somewhere in Atlanta or Houston. Food is not good. Mimosas 2/10. 20% gratuity and service charge already added to bill

I had the chicken and it was good I give it at 7. Was disappointed that the Open Table menu wasn’t the same as the one in person. The sweet and smokey bbq wings didn’t exist, the mushroom pasta didn’t exist, the cauliflower tacos, like more than half of the menu wasn’t available and doesn’t exist due to in person, the menu was very limited. I expected more options and that’s why I picked that spot. Nice ambiance. I liked it a lot. I hate the whole experience of being photographed while you eat and asking to be photographed while eating and then them trying to sell you the framed photo. I just wanted a chill, relaxing, evening in private with my partner and it became a photo shoot mid-meal. The staff was nice for the most part though, but I now know what to expect if/when I come back.

The food was good the vibe and esthetics was great. I would definitely come back for dinner and drinks for sure. The artwork throughout is very inspiring. They have a great Speakeasy that is hidden with amazing artwork. The drinks were very good. It’s a creative environment to have a cocktail.

Interesting restaurant and space. Lots to see in the decor and layout (downstairs bar is worth a visit). Food was good and service very good. On a more disappointing note there were 2 service fees added to the bill. A 3% service fee and a 17% gratuity were preloaded. Our server was very good but that policy is unacceptable. The bill suggested a gratuity on top of the automatically added items below! Probably will not revisit for that behavior alone.

Everything here was amazing starting with the customer service to the ambience to the food. 10/10 however the only problem was the false advertisement. Says happy hour is Tuesday- Friday from 5-7. When getting there they told us it’s only on Thursdays. They need to update the menu online so people don’t get confused. That was our only complaint but besides that everything was amazing.

Great ambiance and drinks. Food menu can be improved. They were out of certain seafood. I was looking forward to trying the grilled octopus but they didn't have it. Mac and cheese was bland.

The parking was bad, they only had Valet and it was an OUTRAGEOUS $25 to literally move it across the street. Food and drinks both top notch and the server I had was friendly, knowledgable and made sure we were taken care of. I’d go back! Just find better parking..
