Proabition sits in the center of the fashion hub L.A Fashion District. We feature a progressive American/California cuisine. We offer a year round alfresco dining experience with an aesthetic indoor outdoor enclosed patio. Our beverage program offers a robust collection of spirits and truly artisanal products notably Whiskey, Mezcal and Tequila. Weekend dinner experiences feature live music, fire dancers, our Speakeasy the "Monocole" and culinary and beverage experiences.

Please note that we take every request under consideration, however, we can't guarantee that all requests will always be met.

We offer valet parking Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm - 2 am and Sundays from 11 am - 6 pm.
Parking structure is available across our venue.

The food and drinks were amazing, looked like the servers were under staffed so they took longer to get the drinks and food to us but they were very friendly.

I would not recommend this place. There was an unpleasant odor throughout the restaurant and the restaurant is well aware of it because they were burning incense. The waiter mentioned that it had to do with the pipes. No excuse. They also charge a service fee in addition to gratuity. When asked what the service fee was for, the waiter said it was for the DJ, etc. The service fee was addressed with the owner and he removed it from the bill. We mentioned to him about the smell in the restaurant and his response, well it’s Downtown…unacceptable. I’ve been to other restaurants in DTLA and there is no unpleasant odor. As for the food, the selection was not good. I would not recommend this place.

My son and I had brunch with my wife for Mother's Day. The service was excellent and wait staff was continually asking us whether we needed anything. The food and drinks were excellent as well. I ordered Avocado toast and their delicious Brussels sprouts appetizer. My wife had Salmon toast and my son had a burger and fries. The reason for the low rating was a musty, stale water, type stench that was immediately noticeable upon entering. The restaurant also operates as a bar/night club. The owners would benefit by hiring a plumber to check for a leak somewhere in the establishment. The establishment and restrooms appeared clean so it's a shame if they don't resolve this problem.

Vibe and service were good. But too many negatives. Bad smell in bar area and downstairs. Food was unfortunately horrible. Served either cold or waaaay overcooked. I have been sick since eating there yesterday. Fun place for drinks and appetizers but not a meal. The best part of our experience was our outstanding server, Valeria.

I am quite disappointed in this spot. We arrived for my daughter’s birthday to Down the Rabbit hole being CLOSED. This is the whole reason we came to this spot. They don’t accommodate for the closure at all. We had at least 4 people look at our reservation to seat us which I appreciated. They say their reservations have been low. Well, the following will explain why. The appetizers are good here. I was feeling quite positive after having the Hamache and Brussels, fries. The drinks are cool, nothing amazing but not basic. The entrees however, need ALOT of work. The chicken is bland or not balanced depending on the dish. Queso appetizer tastes like pizza instead of Queso. They have no acceptable vegetarian options in Los Angeles. The Rib eye was juicy but nothing special and not worth 62.00. No one was happy with their food beyond the appetizer. Tacos were just ok. The waiter seemed depressed but service was ok. Even the Happy Birthday you pay extra for was lackluster. The inside is cute and would be worth the visit if that speakeasy was open for drinks and appetizers only. We spent about 600.00 and this was the most lack luster birthday dinner establishment I have ever spent at.

We had the best customer service and dining experience tonight. Valerie and John were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The salmon was delicious. And the speakeasy was a treat.

Pros: 1. Food was good. 2. Drinks were good. Cons: 1. They lag with food and drinks and seating EVEN IF you have a reservation. 2. Leaking pipe in their speakeasy downstairs right next to the bar.
