Melissa made our 91-yr-old Mother feel like a queen! Many thanks for the wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch. The sea bass, salmon, and Eggs Benedict were wonderful! The apps and desserts were fabulous as well. Pulling off smooth service on Mother’s Day can be a challenge, but the staff pulled it off with ease. Our party of five left with smiles. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Went here for mother day. First time here, will not return. Looks like they added a bunch of tables, probably broke fire code. However, at $52 a pop I can see how they would want to capitalize on that situation. Very disorganized, food was just okay.

Came here for Mother’s Day and did not have a good experience. We made a reservation and still had to wait 10-15 mins for a table… In an already tight entry way and a line of people waiting to be sat as well ,this was super annoying. When we finally got seated our waitress was nice and attentive however, our appetizer and main dish both came out at the same time which was confusing. I’m not even sure how that happened when we were told to put all the orders in at once and they would come out with time in between. We ended up just having them pack the rest of our food so we could try to enjoy it at home as our kids were starting to get antsy and to top it off I took my 10 month old into the bathroom to change his diaper and they didn’t have a changing station. I thought this was a family friendly restaurant but maybe not. This was my second time at this place the first not being the best experience because the service was bad… needless to say my Mother’s Day brunch wasn’t a great experience either. The manager did comp half the meal and apologized which I did appreciate. Unfortunately, I will not be back a third time

First time dinning at Princi Italia. Was hoping for a nice evening, so booked a patio table. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Only complaint was the service. Just a little slow. Probably didn’t help that our waitress was triple sat. Will be back to try some of the other yummy looking things on the menu.

My chicken piccata was very disappointing - flavorless chicken and I subbed the pasta for potato and it was stuck together like glue. The waiter was no help in the wine department and said he’d get the asst manager but never did. Once he brought the bill we didn’t see waiter again. I love food, I love trying new places, I will NOT be returning to his restaurant.

We usually go to the Princi Italia at Preston Royal in Dallas. I would have to say that this was probably one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever experienced. The service was terrible. The waitress who served us was definitely inexperienced and poorly trained. Kind of made us feel very rushed, I think the manager tried his best to pacify everybody, but the Bolognese sauce tasted terrible with cinnamon and it never heard of that before and my husband had the fro and that was so salty. It was ridiculous. The bill was screwed up with who was charged on what credit card. It just seems like everyone was having a bad night. I can honestly tell you there are three people at that table that will probably never come back to any of your restaurants. We will continue to visit and frequent the Preston Royal because that’s where we live, but I’m sad to say that I recommended it and I’m disappointed my guest.

We had a delightful waiter for our girls lunch. The food was delicious on the Power Lunch. We had a lot to catch up on and we were not rushed out of the restaurant. What a mid-week treat!

The food is normally delivered within 15 min. Yesterday was the exception — closer to 45 minutes. Our server was very sweet and apologized for the delay several times. The chef finally brought out the food. I’m sure it was due to some very large groups which is not normally the case.

I had their Wed special which was Chicken Francese but I didn't think it was very good and some parts of the chicken breast were tough. We usually have a good meal here but I was disappointed. I think the value for what you get has gone down. While we will most likely come again, it won't be as frequent or any time soon.

This place was ok. I ordered the chicken piccata, which was more like lemon chicken and it was missing the capers.. They were also out of broccolini and substituted green beans which was fine. It also came with 3 small halves of fingerling potatoes which great, just not many…We also ordered the tomato basil flatbread which was good. The espresso martini was also good. Service was the best part of the outing.

We did a Silver Oak wine pairing and dinner. Great experience. Food was delightful although I found the lamb a bit dry. All in all would definitely recommend to others.

It was a fun, cool looking place but ended up being very noisy. Hard to hear each other talk but we made it work. The food was just ok. There were 5 of us and only 2 of our meals were worth mentioning. Pepperoni pizza and Braised beef short ribs. We did order the meatballs and charcuterie board which were both good. The scallops were just ok with way too much risotto and not enough scallops ( 3 very small ones). The bolognese had way too much all spice or ginger because my daughter said it tasted like a gingerbread cookie. It was unusual. The Veal Francese was very plain. No flavor and the sauce was bland. The spinach it came with was barely wilted and drowning in olive oil. The flavor of the food was just off and some of the items we would not recommend. For 5 of us with a few appetizers, 2 salads, 5 meals and desserts for 3, our bill was about $300 including tip. And we all drank water. No alcohol or drinks. A little overpriced for what we got.

Set a set a table that was designed for four people instead of seven did not have a place for my food was not given a plate. When I ordered pizza I did not have the wine I wanted the server brought our food cold. It was just a nightmare then I got an awful stomachache all night long.

Our server, Melissa, was excellent. The scallop dinner was flavorful, and the salmon was very good but slightly over cooked. We were pleased at the lower noise level on this evening. Princi Italia is so popular that it is normally packed and noisy as a result. I wish there were gluten free options.

We have been coming here since they opened in 2015. The food never disappoints. The general manager and partner, Jose, is always cordial and the service is great. My favorites are the veal Frances’s and the Orechiette with house made sausage and rapini. Order any of their salads with tomatoes in it and you will get extraordinary tomatoes. I love the tomato, buffalo mozzarella salad.
