We love the Henderson and Primrose. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here as we got married at the Henderson 3 years ago! We got the Lobster roll & primrose roll and they were both AMAZING!

Our server was rude when we asked for a local’s discount last night because she had given us a “free” birthday dessert. Over the past year, I’ve been to this restaurant specifically for celebrations because of how well I was treated on my 50th birthday last year. I’ve also frequented this restaurant over the fall and winter when the hotel was slow and brought many guests who have continued to dine and spend money. If you have a local’s discount which is advertised, we shouldn’t be made to feel badly for asking for it. In the future please ask the staff to be more polite and not rude. I always tip well and didn’t appreciate being treated ugly for requesting something that is offered in emails that I receive from your company.

My wife and I enjoyed the Napa Train wine and food pairing. I’ll acknowledge the wonderful food and drink. The evening was MOST special because of the engaged small group seating and the course by course narrative from Chef Simmons and Sommelier Chris. Well done.

Had not been to the Primrose and didn’t realize it was a Hotel restaurant when we booked it. However the food (I ordered the sushi and my wife had the chicken entree) were very tasty and I would recommend. Service by Marcel was excellent as we had another family with three small girls with us. The inside part of the restaurant is sort of basic and I interesting but you can sit outside on the patio overlooking the pools which seemed nice. Overall we liked it and would likely go back

Roses and mimosas for Moms were a nice touch. Was disappointed it was moved to the ballroom without notice. Much less welcoming venue. Our server was wonderful. Food was pretty standard, but good.

We made reservations for Mother’s Day Brunch it was $95 a person. It was not remotely worth it. We weren’t in the nice restaurant with gulf views pictured on Open Table we were in a non-descript ballroom with sloppily set tables and wilted cheap dying centerpieces. The food was a just ok standard “upscale” brunch. For that price I was expecting something special. We had to pay in advance including 20% tip so I couldn’t even change my mind once I saw what we were paying for. We did get a free Mimosa because we are women - I felt bad for the dudes who were paying for their whole family and couldn’t get a complimentary mimosa too. For that price it should have been bottomless Mimosas for everyone. Maybe the Henderson is nice but don’t book for Mother’s Day Brunch. Total ripoff.

My wife and I love brunch and this was not a good one. This was our first time here and it was very disappointing. For comparison, two that come to mind are Sequoia in Georgetown and Hotel del Coronado in San Diego that were at or under the price of your brunch. Both of these restaurants offered more options, quality of the food was better, and the ambiance was better. Unfortunately there was not even a comparison and both examples I mentioned are in areas that have a higher cost of living. We paid $325.30 for my wife and I plus two young kids. I am okay paying this price as long as I get what I am paying for. The food was just okay, but not enough options. Heck I got one mimosa so I could celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and ended up paying an additional $18 for my small glass. We found out as we were about to leave that Mom's were getting roses, which we never received and ended up asking for one. I will wrap this up, but please improve because the property is very nice and will love to return for another brunch. FYI, the room was pretty grungy.
