Prime Seafood Palace is a modern steakhouse offering a selection of beef, seafood, and vegetables all sourced from purveyors we love and value. Unexpected - a space to truly experience in person. The main entry is located in a quiet courtyard, drawing patrons away from the humming activity of Queen Street West. Inspired by Matty Matheson’s East Coast roots and appreciation for architecture, our design is conceptualized as a light-filled cathedral clad in white maple, with a menu that gives nod to the classic steakhouse tradition.

Le mot « palais » décrit bien le temple du steak et des fruits de mer du célèbre chef Matty Matheson.     Prime Seafood Palace exceeded all expectations during my best friend's birthday celebration. From the moment we stepped through the door, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The attentive staff made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Chef Matty, Chris/Vince and the entire service team set the standards high. We started with the seafood cocktail, a delightful mix of fresh flavors that set the stage for what was to come. The turnips, the salad, and all the small shares were amazing. The caviar was a luxurious touch, adding a hint of indulgence to our meal. However, the real star of the show was the lobster spaghetti and all the proteins, you really can’t go wrong. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly cooked pasta mingling with succulent lobster in a decadent sauce. Medium rare proteins cooked to perfection. What truly set Prime Seafood Palace apart was their thoughtful gesture of sending out a birthday cake with candles for my friend. It was an unexpected surprise that truly made her day special. The combination of impeccable service, delectable food, and personalized touches make Prime Seafood Palace a standout choice for any occasion. We will definitely be returning to indulge in their culinary delights again soon.

    A very special night. The service is incredible. Seriously, they know how to make your night feel very special. The food is also fantastic- the bone-in strip is maybe the most flavourful steak I’ve ever had and the mushrooms were SO good. It’s a splurge but worth it for a memorable night.

    Excellent Dining Experience! There were many standouts: Lobster spaghetti, bacon, black pepper steak au poivre and mushroom spetzel. The maple tart for dessert is an absolute must. We sat at the bar and loved the attentive service.

    I can’t explain how phenomenal everything was. Top 5 meals of my life. We flew in from Boston and we had a late reservation (1030) and they called to see if we would like to come in earlier. I booked whatever reservation I could get just to try it so having us come in earlier what such a pleasant surprise! We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start, the prime rib to share, white asparagus, palace potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and for dessert we had the maple tart and chocolate cake. Everything we had was 10/10. The wine pairings were excellent. Our waitress was so attentive and kind and made the experience so much more memorable. EMMA YOU ARE SO GREAT!!!! We can’t wait to return !!
