They really have no vegetarian or vegan options. Please bring more veggie forward entrees/appetizers to your menus . The service was good but it is very loud.

Sanitation issues. Had a big in a salad a few years ago and this time there was hair in the flourless chocolate cake. When one of the waiters was informed he just said don’t worry we’ll bring out another one soon.

We were seated in a very small booth. My son is 6'7". We were tight and uncomfortable. Worst of all, the food was cold! For $100 power person, I expected better.

Brought my mother and aunt for the Mother's Day Brunch 2024 and it was the most outstanding brunch we've ever had the pleasure of attending. Rarely are foods at brunch buffets good; however, Prime & Provisions set the bar because every dish served was so very good (especially those potatoes)! Also, they had a picture display and passed out tulips to each mother! I look forward to the next opportunity we are able to dine here!

Excellent anniversary dinner here. My wife has a food allergy and they were able to accommodate her with ease. Drinks were wonderful and the food was delicious. It was a tad noisy, not quite the intimate environment I was hoping for, but it was Saturday night so I should probably have done a better job scheduling.

You can swing a cat and find a quality steakhouse in Chicago. Prime and Provisions would fall into that category. Great service, nice cocktails, decent wine list, a view, generous sides, and fantastic steaks. P&P has all the above, there’s a reason why Michelin has them in their top five Chicago steakhouses. Would recommend.

Really delicious steakhouse! We enjoyed the wedge salad, shrimp cocktail, filet with bearnaise. The sides are yummy- get the gratin potatoes. Strong dessert menu also.

I took my bf here for his 28th birthday and let the staff know when I made the reservation on OpenTable. We arrived and were seated quite quickly. The noise level was a little loud, but it was tolerable. We were seated at a large elevated table and every staff member who interacted with us mentioned "Happy birthday" to my bf. We ordered the crab cesar salad (10/10), 34oz tomahawk steak (VERY good but was $210), and brussel sprouts. The staff then brought out a complimentary salted caramel and chocolate cake slice with a sparkler candle. Overall, the establishment went above and beyond to make sure we had a great first time and I am so happy I made a reservation here

Consistently good quality. I have dined here many times and never left feeling unsatisfied. Without a doubt the quality of a meal is a category that needs to top expectations as is the service and Prime & Provisions tops both. Thanks for staff as always... good job! - A reflection of good management.

Prime and Provisions was a great experience for fine dining. The service was excellent. My server, Mesa was outstanding and provided me with helpful suggestions and advice about the food and drinks. The food was delicious, my date and I ate all of our food. We had the Kansas City steak and the petit filets with lobster tail cooked medium well along with mashed potatoes and charred corn. This was fine dining at it's best. I will definitely come back again.

Nathaniel was absolutely amazing and beyond knowledgeable. He led us through the menu and gave wonderful recommendations that will definitely have us coming back!! To see the passion and pride he takes in his role makes the experience even more enjoyable. He is an exceptional server and we will definitely be requesting him in the future. The food and drinks were amazing especially the Dover sole!

The food was very good. Tried the porterhouse, thick bacon, charred octopus, crab cake, sweet corn, whipped potatoes, potato gratin, and mac & cheese. The highlights were the porterhouse and potato gratin. I wish the whipped potatoes were creamier. Everything was really good, but I'm not sure if I would return for that price on the menu.

Great place. Was in town in Chicago for business. Booked a table on Open Table. The food was amazing. Mike was excellent in providing great recommendations for drink and the food. Oysters were juicy and tasty definitely recommend the west coast ones. Crab Caesar salad was too good. Dry Aged Rib eye was excellent cooked to perfection and quality of steak was top notch. Also probably try the Old fashioned my group was raving about it, i didn't try it though. Would definitely recommend for anyone spending some good money for great food and experience.

Like a lot of other corporations driven by greed the restaurant industry is hiding fees in their bills to jack up their profits. If they need the money then change their prices on their menus and let the consumer decide if it's worth it. We won't be back to Prime and Provisions and will share our experience with others. With the exception of their sleight of hand on the bill it was a great experience.

We love this restaurant! I had the 10 oz filet & my husband ordered the rib eye. The sides were delicious. Unfortunately, my husband’s ribeye was very fatty w/lots of gristle. The last time he ordered it , he loved it!

Listen to the reviews. Food is delicious and ambience is there but do not go if you’re in a rush or would like to eat in a remotely decent time. Our server was not attentive or caring at all. I felt as a younger table, he judge purely on looks and very much catered to some of the older tables. He forgot to put our food in three times, we had to ask FOUR times for bread, he just didn’t care but we knew why after we saw the check and that there was an automatic 18% tip added after 9PM.

Service was extremely slow. Plates between courses were taken away in approximately 20 minutes intervals. Food was subpar. My medium rare steak was served as medium. Didn’t ask to replace the it because I was concerned as to how long it would take. Not the Prime & Provisions I remember.

Chicago fell flat in the food department. The steaks were not cooked correctly, the sear was burnt, the potato was bland, the sprots were under cooked and bland. Overall nothing was great and for more than 100 a person the experience didn't match the price point.

I arranged a table for six at Prime & Provisions to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday. Despite arriving 15 minutes early with an incomplete party, the hostess graciously escorted us to our table, a gesture that struck me as particularly accommodating for a restaurant of this caliber. Our waiter promptly attended to us as we awaited the arrival of our remaining guests.
