For Mother's Day we will be serving our GRAND BRUNCH BUFFET. Includes items like eggs benedict, belgian waffles, an omelet station, our thick cut bacon, and other breakfast favorites. It also includes our spectacular raw bar, and a carving station with maple-glazed ham and slow-roasted prime rib. And finish your experience off with our ferris wheel of desserts. Beverages are not included. Our full bar including mimosas and champagne are available to celebrate all the moms and grandmothers. $95 per person for adults, $35 for kids 7-12, and guests 6 and under are free. Like a lot of other corporations driven by greed the restaurant industry is hiding fees in their bills to jack up their profits. If they need the money then change their prices on their menus and let the consumer decide if it's worth it. We won't be back to Prime and Provisions and will share our experience with others. With the exception of their sleight of hand on the bill it was a great experience.

We love this restaurant! I had the 10 oz filet & my husband ordered the rib eye. The sides were delicious. Unfortunately, my husband’s ribeye was very fatty w/lots of gristle. The last time he ordered it , he loved it!

Listen to the reviews. Food is delicious and ambience is there but do not go if you’re in a rush or would like to eat in a remotely decent time. Our server was not attentive or caring at all. I felt as a younger table, he judge purely on looks and very much catered to some of the older tables. He forgot to put our food in three times, we had to ask FOUR times for bread, he just didn’t care but we knew why after we saw the check and that there was an automatic 18% tip added after 9PM.

Waiter made a very stupid comment to my date - steaks were great, and so were the mushrooms. Bone marrow, NE chowder and French onion soup was ok You can call me about the comment 401-864-0587

Service was extremely slow. Plates between courses were taken away in approximately 20 minutes intervals. Food was subpar. My medium rare steak was served as medium. Didn’t ask to replace the it because I was concerned as to how long it would take. Not the Prime & Provisions I remember.

Overall service was very slow, the ribeye was extremely fatty. Not worth the cost, definitely better off elsewhere.

Chicago fell flat in the food department. The steaks were not cooked correctly, the sear was burnt, the potato was bland, the sprots were under cooked and bland. Overall nothing was great and for more than 100 a person the experience didn't match the price point.

I arranged a table for six at Prime & Provisions to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday. Despite arriving 15 minutes early with an incomplete party, the hostess graciously escorted us to our table, a gesture that struck me as particularly accommodating for a restaurant of this caliber. Our waiter promptly attended to us as we awaited the arrival of our remaining guests. Throughout the evening, he demonstrated remarkable attentiveness, offering personalized recommendations based on his own experiences and preferences, which we found quite refreshing. Notably, I had indicated in the reservation our time constraints due to an evening play, and our waiter conscientiously paced the meal, reminding us periodically of the time to ensure we could depart punctually without feeling rushed. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for the dry-aged NY strip with enhancements, we indulged in appetizers of crab cakes and bacon, accompanied by a selection of sides including Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, broccoli, and flawlessly whipped potatoes. As a birthday celebration, the restaurant graciously treated us to a slice of their tantalizing caramel cake. Each dish surpassed our expectations, offering a blend of uniqueness, richness, and comfort perfectly suited to a brisk spring day in Chicago. The overall service was outstanding, and I wholeheartedly anticipate returning to Prime & Provisions for future celebratory occasions.

The restaurant offers great services, and the food was undeniably delicious. Not only that, but the portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for money. What was once a great dining experience has been reduced to average at best. Food prep was not as ordered, wait staff was short and curt from the seating. We weren’t allowed to Ask questions of the menu until all 4 of us were seated. We also asked for a booth over table and were told they were all reserved. Unfortunately we accepted and respected that response however there was one that remained empty our entire dining experience. Others opened up during that time as well. When we left 4 were open and adjacent. I wondered why the restaurant was not as full as my previous experiences. Now I know! Shame on management for allowing a great place to dwindle significantly

We are a little disappointed that our 29th anniversary wasn’t mentioned. I wrote that on our reservation but no mention of it. Also, we were disappointed in our drinks as well. They were out of brandy. And the blackberry bramble was not as good as normal. However the food and service was very good. We always go there to celebrate birthdays, milestones, etc. and this time we were a bit disappointed.

The food here is always fantastic! I think our waiter was Dio(?) and he was very nice and accommodating. We started with oysters and shrimp cocktail and wedge salads...all VERY solid. We had filets and chilled crab legs for the main course with an awesome potato au gratin. The au gratin was browned perfectly. We ate three desserts which was probably overkill, but the caramel cake, s'mores, and apple pie were delicious. Apple Pie was SO flavorful. We came here before going to the theater, so it was a perfect walk to our show after a filling dinner. This was NOT an inexpensive evening, but you get what you pay for.

We have dined at P&P a number of times. Each visit has been great. Excellent food, superior service and an elegant atmosphere make P&P the best steakhouse in Chicago. And that says a lot!!!

A great business meal, and a nice way to get out of towners a great Chicago steak in an energetic ambiance. Service was a little off - I was asked if I wanted a drink but my colleagues had been seated for a while and weren't asked, etc. Food was great.

I went to dinner with my wife and baby ( a very special occasion since I hadn't see them in 6 weeks ), at first they sat us in a very uncomfortable table and I told the host I requested a booth in my reservation and he responded that those were not available but many of them were empty, another person from the floor saw how tight the space was and maybe my face kind of uncomfortable and she told us if we wanted to move to a both to have a more suitable space to dinner so we agreed. After 20-25 minutes at least passed before someone stopped by and ask us for drinks, they apologized and said they had a confusion when they moved us from table to table and we understood, but in my opinion any waiter or helper could've ask us if we were being helped already. Finally, we ordered a filet mignon ( medium well term ), rotisserie chicken, clam showder soup and a side of broccoli. The steak was dry and basically burned out, no flavor, the chicken was ok but nothing spectacular, the clam chowder soup was delicious and the side of broccoli was ok, by the way they need to get a better recipe for their bread it is stiff and empty in the center. We asked for a bottle of wine 🍷, they have a good selection in that area. The waiter and the helper was very attentive by moments but didn't stop by our table too often. Finally we asked for dessert, the Leche Cake was good and the other one was chocolate but we didn't like the flavor. We noticed none of the booths the host told us that we're reserved were occupied, and of course we felt a little bit excluded on his part ( maybe he thought we were not buying a wine bottle ), we spent $400 dls on a dinner that had nothing special except for us being together as a family, the only person who really made us feel the welcome was the person who helped us seating in a better spot. If you are looking for a tasty dinner, this is not the place to visit, the place looks nice though, I would recommend it only for having drinks with friends.

A nice jazz/dinner club experience. Just wished the quality of the jazz was better. For a “headline” show playing two sets a night, this band seemed more of a warm up band trying to figure themselves out. The drummer in particular drowned the other players out…and the band leader never got that sorted. That said, it was one of the only venues we could find in Chicago that allowed minors, and my son, a budding jazz pianist, enjoyed the experience.

The experience my team and I had at Prime & Provisions was absolutely amazing. It is hard to make a whole group happy but eating there we were able to do just that! Great service, incredible food, and delicious drinks.

Unbelievable service and food quality! By far the best steak I’ve ever had. Food comes quick and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is outstanding!

Lunch after the architecture boat tour - beet salads with filet mignon were delicious as was the banana cream pie. The S’more sundae was out of this world. Nice service and ambiance. We would return.

From the hostess, to the server, to the manager, everything was absolutely amazing. The hostess made sure to call me beforehand to make sure everything was set correctly. Our server Michael recommended the best dishes, and explained the menu in depth. All of his recommendations were exceptional. The manager made sure to check on us multiple times and congratulate us for our occasion! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the city!!

Still dreaming of the Dover Sole that may have been the best I have ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at P&P last night. Gary was our main server and he was fantastic in his knowledge of the menu and his recommendations. He was attentive, but not intrusive. However, the entire service team needs kudos! They work like a enthusiastic well-oiled machine! Our food was cooked perfectly. My husband's steak was exactly the way he likes, which is rare with a warm center. He appreciated the charred crustiness of steak and the warm red melty center. Brussel sprouts were too sweet, which was not mentioned on the menu. My Dover Sole was melt in your mouth incredible. The lemon caper sauce was amazing. The green beans and potatoes were both good, just too much. The pile of cooked onions was probably not necessary since it detracted from the sweetness of the fish. Now dessert! For our anniversary they brought out a gorgeous smoked S'mores chocolate bomb with a sparkler to celebrate. So good! And very special! My only down was how incredibly loud the restaurant was. The pounding Eurodisco beat was just not necessary and made no sense with a Chicago steakhouse. We had a hard time hearing each other and we were seated right next to each other in a half round booth (which we did appreciated the seating for our anniversary.) So that was the only negative. It was a very special anniversary and we appreciated the attention to great service and detail, especially as busy as they were.

Excellent service and food, the bar drinks were tasty and had a good amount of alcohol. One of the more hire priced establishments, but not as high as some. They do have a Wagu list for steak and at least 1 chicken dish for those who don't do seafood or beef. Overall a great experience.

One of the best services in town. Each table has two very conscientious people that attend to you. In addition to a manger that checks on you. Most restaurants in the city cannot even get one good waiter.

Best lamp chops in the city, luxury bites are to die for, Greg was amazing and very knowledgeable about pairings, made our anniversary one to remeber
