Food was rather salty for fresh fish. Steak was great. Crab cakes a lot of stuffing. Probably would not be back.

Anniversary celebration started with a nice note from the staff. Service was prefect. Medium rare steak came out medium but it was so tasty we didn’t send back. Overall a great dining experience and we will be back.

Food was excellent and service superb. You get a lot so you pay a lot. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Gainesville.

This is a do-not-miss dining experience. After many mediocre (not so) fine dining experiences elsewhere, this restaurant was a true standout in every way.

The waiter was outstanding with everything, very informational as far as the menu goes and the history of the prime and Pearl establishment. The food was amazing. No complaints. Left me and my wife speechless. Highly recommend this place! Treat yourself!!!!

The service was good. My ribeye steak was awful. It was tough and had no flavor. It was like it was pulled out the freezer and quickly grilled with no seasoning added. I ate about four bites and gave up. I ended up eating half of my wife's crab cakes and throwing the $50 steak away. I was amazed that the waiter did not ask why I had not eaten my steak. Kind of obvious something was wrong. The atmosphere was way too casual (shorts) for a restaurant that ends up being $100/person.

The restaurant is very nice and in a nice location. Clean and moderately quiet. The bartender Sarah was lovely and perfect amount of attentive. The waiter we had was very… intrusive and his timing was off. Maybe an off night but he kept interrupting conversations frequently (business dinner) and we felt rushed to move along. Our reservation was for 730p and allowed adequate time for us to wrap up before closing. The steak was perfect. Dessert with a whiskey is a must!
