Food was great! Appetizers were amazing. The garlic bread, broiled octopus, and rice balls. All the sides were amazing roasted potatoes, brown butter mashed potatoes asparagus. Desserts were great we got the triple delight and the canoli. Best canoli I've had.

We enjoyed our date night at Prima. Tom was excellent and recommended a bourbon for my fiancé. He also suggested a cake to compliment the tiramisu espresso martinis - both were delicious!

This is a great spot in Charlestown. Very lively brunch scene and diverse menu. Would go back.

service was horrible and the bartender was extremely rude. food was great but it was overpriced and took so long to come out. this is definitely a place that was hyped up too much on tiktok and now doesn’t care about quality anymore. skip this place and go somewhere else

Your 9 step stages to leave a review with multiple confirmations o if I am who I say I am is outrageous. I would never have done it if I knew this wasn’t a direct surgery for Prima. Prima is fantastic. Andrew the GM is the best and always treats everyone like they have been coming forever.

We were in the Rose Room with our server, Ryan. Fantastic service! I’m gluten free and they were knowledgeable. The food was delicious and came out quickly.

We had heard great things about the restaurant and were looking forward to our reservation. Arrived at 8:30 for an 8:45 , waited just to be told at 8:45 we would not be seated till 9:15. The manager was very nice and solved the situation by sitting us at 8:45. We waited till 9:20 to ordered our food. It took even longer for the food to come. Ambience was nice, the service was not. The food was okay. Chicken parmigiana was over cooked, lemon chicken was nice , too much butter. Bread was served cold. These are simple dishes for an Italian restaurant. They did not impressed me.

Prima has such an amazing atmosphere and even more amazing food! Our server (who also has celiac) was so attentive and helpful with recommendations of what to order. We went to gluten free Monday and got the arancini, bruschetta, focaccia, eggplant parm, chicken piccata, and raspberry pistachio tiramisu to share. Everything was so unbelievable I was ecstatic over feeling like I didn’t have celiac for a night. We will definitely be back and highly recommend and any of my celiac and non celiac friends!

Love the ambiance in this place though it can get uncomfortably noisy. Service was great. Food is fine/good - nothing amazing. They seem to have the most trouble with seafood dishes.

Love this place! Came here for our anniversary and our waiter greeted us at our table with champagne! The service was truly outstanding, but the food didn’t dissapoint either. Our top dishes were the orecchiette al limon, garlic bread, and Caesar salad. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great experience at Prima on gluten free Monday! Highly recommend the garlic bread + arancini as starters and the bolognese and chicken parmesan as mains. Service was solid and the ambiance was very cool!

I took my daughter here for her birthday dinner. The staff was pleasant but the food was mediocre and the dining room very loud. We ordered a salad to share, to be followed by two pasta dishes and then steaks for our main course. The salad arrived relatively quickly but sadly, the Caesar was overdressed. Too bad our server never came back to ask how the food was. Then began a very long wait (~45 minutes) and then one of the pasta dishes arrived at the same time as the steaks and accompanying sides (ordered a la carte: mashed potatoes and broccolini) and about 10 minutes later, the second pasta dish arrived. That's not how we ordered our food - we had wanted the pasta as a second course to be followed by the main course of steak. The manager came over and apologized and brought us two drinks on the house - a nice gesture. They took the steaks away and told us they would make new ones for us after we finished our pasta. The pasta was not good - the Amatriciana bucatini was over-cooked. When the Rigatoni alla Vodka finally arrived it was like a sea of over-cooked noodles swimming in a gloopy mess of sauce. That was left uneaten. Good thing the manager kindly comped our pastas. The filet mignon was okay but by the time it arrived, we were so tired that we ate only a small amount. Because we were celebrating a birthday, we ordered dessert, raspberry tiramisu which was probably the best thing we tried all night. Bottomline, staff was nice if not terribly skilled, the food was not great, and the dining room was too loud. I will not be going back. I felt like we wasted our evening and left feeling very disappointed.

Definitely met/exceeded our expectations! We had a tiramisu espresso martini (10/10), the truffle arancini, chicken parm, and Caesar salad. We asked if they could add chicken to the salad which was definitely the way to go. Even the grilled chicken they added was amazing! We then had the raspberry pistachio tiramisu which was great and super unique. We ended up sitting at the bar because our reservation was for a “high top” which was crammed next to the adjacent tables. There’s no way we could’ve sat that close to others. WAY too close and wouldn’t have been enjoyable. The bar was definitely the way to go! Can’t wait go back!

Went for brunch with my partner and was not disappointed. The food was amazing, our waitress was sweet and attentive. Perfect spot to go for brunch (French toast and tirimasu esppreso martini were amazing!)

We sat in the back room and it was little noisy but overall incredible experience! Food & wine was AMAZING! We got the Arancini bites as an app, and then I got the brown butter gnocchi and my boyfriend got steak and mash potatoes. DO NOT sleep on the mashed potatoes, they are heaven. We already have a reservation to come back in a few weeks!

greeted badly as we wanted a different table. Young lady acted put off as if she was doing us a favor by looking for a different table Not a good way to start an evening. No sense of her being wrong in her mind. Pretty inexperienced wait staff. Nice but for the money charged they should be better trained.

Would absolutely recommend to Prima to anyone looking for an amazing meal! Been there twice, the food is amazing, the wine list is extensive and the service is top notch. I will always now try to snag a reservation when we know we’ll be in the city.

Our waiter Jack was great- attentive and perfect timing. Explained menu thoroughly. Brought dessert with candles as requested. Food was delicious. Music was too loud. Chicken piccata was too thick and too large but pasta was delicious. Overall a great experience.

Amazing ambience and beautiful interior design and woodwork! The bar is beautiful, and the food was top-notch! Went for a birthday brunch and the food was very delicious and filling! Lots of great drink options too and our waitress was very attentive!

We celebrated my dad’s birthday here, and it was such a nice spot! Beautiful interior, flavorful and delicious food, and friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely come back!

I was thrilled to celebrate my birthday with my partner at Prima, as it was our first visit there. The menu impressed us with its variety, offering more options than we typically find elsewhere. Unfortunately, the restaurant was extremely noisy and the service was very slow. It was so loud that our server mistakenly thought I would be sharing a meal with my partner! We ended up waiting an additional hour for his new order while my meal went cold, and they didn’t offer to replace my plate. Ultimately, the dining experience didn’t live up to our expectations, especially considering the price. The restaurant is beautiful and others might appreciate it more than I did. I recommend giving it a try, but based on my first experience, I won't be returning.

The Rose Room was beautiful - Food was good but the Service was a bit rushed - They recommended that you place your order for all courses so that they could space it out but then brought our Main Course before we even finished our Starters & Salad -

The chicken Milanese was very good and held its crunch well, the meatballs were amazing as well. Overall had a great experience. The staff were so friendly with us.
