Food was okay Mashed potatoes were bland and cold. The loud noise of the kitchen staff took over the whole restaurant. We didn't have any silverware when we sat down and service was not good.

The dinner menu didn’t have many options. Also, 2 oxtails and 3 shrimp over white rice was not worth $51. Let me not forget to mention the Lazy cat over just sauce definitely was not worth $40. The drinks and server were great!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. I've had several things off the menu and they were all delicious. The drinks are always top tier

Great place for date night or a night out with friends. The ambiance was nice, they played RnB which made the vibes great. The place was nicely decorated. It’s located on the second floor & has free parking available in the parking structure connected to it. We had reservations & were seated quickly, even though we were running a few minutes late. The service was good, the waitress did warn us about spicy items on the menu while we were deciding what to choose. The food was 10/10, we would highly recommend the seafood gumbo (very spicy), and the big cat. The is definitely on our must return list when we come back to Houston!

We ordered the prey balls for an appetizer. They were good. Not great. They were mostly rice. They are on the menu as “ salmon, shrimp, rice, mozzerela”. You could taste the salmon, but there wasn’t much. For our entrees we ordered the Filet King “ 16 oz ribeye topped with cajun seard scallops . shrimp . butter poached crab & signature prey sauce - 75” first of all, there is no way possible that is a 16oz steak. Most likely it was a 12oz. It was thin, overcooked, and not tender. I have had MANY 16oz ribeyes in my life, this was by far the thinnest. I did not send it back for being over cooked. There was ONE small scallop on it. It was maybe the size of a quarter. The flavor was just ok. Definitely NOT WORTH $75. We also ordered the Oxtail Surf & Turf “ Jamaican roasted oxtails & shrimp topped with cajun cream - 51” The oxtail was pretty bland. Not worth the $51. Every time I have had ox tail in other places, it was half the price and twice the flavor. The service was mediocre. She was friendly, but not very attentive. She never refilled the water. We had to ask for more drinks. She didn’t come check on us very often. There was one upside. We mentioned it was my birthday when we got there. After the meal she brought me a slice of cheesecake with “Happy Birthday” written on the plate. That was sweet. When the bill came it was $190 before tax AND ADDED GRATUITY OF 20%!!! For 2 people. After checking the menu to see if it was stated on there, I did find small print “ 20% gratuity is applied to bar seating, parties with 4 or more guest & tabs exceeding $170. 6 Top Tables require a $300 minimum spend.” Needless to say, it is not worth the money. Not even close. I will not be back.

This was my second visit at this restaurant. The first one I enjoyed everything. This visit last week, the food, service, and the food quality was terrible.
