We are currently open seven days a week. Saturday & Sunday we are open with an All Day Menu. Reservations can be made on our website, or through OpenTable. Due to the intimate nature of our dining room, if you would like to make a reservation for more than 4 guests, please give us a call at the restaurant.

We hold reservations for a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running late, we will do our best to hold your table but cannot guarantee it.

Reach us at 617-396-8199 with questions, comments or additional assistance. We always welcome walk-in guests.

Terrific night with great food…everything was delicious…. Crispy potatoes, grilled cornbread, pizza and grilled cabbage. Great evening with friends… not rushed at all.

Excellent dining experience in casual bistro style setting. Fresh agnolotti salmon hen o woods pizza and cocktails all expertly prepared. Neighborhood gem.

The food was very good, but I would like to point out that this not a good choice for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. There are limited items on the menu that are gluten free, dairy free, or both. If this does not concern you, then this is a nice choice for a casual dinner.

Great pizza Great bourbon selection Servers sort of popped up and disappeared at a weird cadence. Wish bar was a little cozier for a couple to feel privacy.

Second time here and both times were terrific. Great food - my husband is very fussy about burgers and really praises this restaurant’s burgers. I had the grilled trout which was so delicious! Service, atmosphere, noise level, etc all just right! Highly recommend!

Never been here even though we’ve known about this local fave for a while. The menu is a nice combo of entrees and pizza so it seems to attract families with young children who want a grown up meal for parents and pizza for kids, We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant between two tables with babies and right next to the busy path servers use. Between the activity and the babies, it was stressful. We noted it was a special occasion when making the reservation so would have expected a better table. The chaos of the atmosphere aside, the food was delicious, though pricey.

Really love their food. This is one of the only places I can find ricotta gnocchi, which are to die for. The flavor combinations are always sophisticated with a hint of comfort. Mom loved the Brussels and finished those before her chicken. Get the pistachio cake while it’s still on the menu! Will absolutely go again!

Nice spot for a wood fired pizza and beer though they offer a wider menu. We enjoyed excellent service, and convenient location near the Coolidge Corners MBTA stop. The pizza was fine but unless it’s a classic Neapolitan one with huge burnt bubbles on the crust, all other pizzas can only ever get 4 stars if they are good. Hence my 4 star for food.

Mushroom toast always delicious… and can’t not get Brussels sprouts. Loved the cabbage too. Trout was yummy but piece on smaller side for steep price. Service was great… they didn’t bring all dishes at once, which they often do. Drinks were good but can’t say it had a lot of alcohol. We will be back!

Great place for dinner. Salad dressing was memorable! The pizza are very large so enough to share! Modest but adequate wine list. My only concern is that it’s a very loud room and almost too loud for quiet conversation.

Went here because a friend who had been in town for medical stuff highly recommended. Had a partner with an allergy and chef was VERY attentive to our needs, going out of his way to make sure the food was safe and even more importantly…absolutely delicious!!! Be sure to try the crispy potatoes and the brown butter grilled halibut which was tender and lovely, served over some yummy Israeli couscous. All in all a great meal in a great part of town! Make a reservation as it can get busy here.

Overall, a wonderful dinner. The duck was delectable - all of the accompanying ingredients complemented & elevated the dish, my friend was very happy with the steak (which is saying something because he's a steak and potatoes guy), the lamb & pork sausage was fantastic. Not to mention, the hen of the woods mushroom toast - while I'm eagerly waiting for it to go back to the black garlic aioli, it's still a decadent treat. Our disappearing act cocktails and my wine was excellent, too. I think I'm getting old because the music always feels like it's too loud to me but that's the case in most restaurants so I'm the outlier there. And, such a wonderful treat to have both Claire and Ricky on the floor that night. I'm so grateful that they both make Prairie Fire feel like a home away from home for me.

We had terrific service, excellent cocktails, and delicious main courses. Everyone was pleased. Only sole complaint is that several people used the exit door right by our table for six--and it was a cold night! Can that door have signage urging people to exit thought the entry?

Outstanding food. Excellent service. Noise level was wonderful so that we could comfortably sit and chat - which is a rare gift in dining out. Lovely ambiance. We will gladly return and highly recommend

We were especially please with the halibut last night. While the price point is a bit steep, the fish was fresh and delicious and the accompanying white beans, brown butter sauce and spinach were also delectable. I prefer the mushroom toast with the black garlic aioli and the broccoli rabe was a bit oily for my taste but, all in all, an excellent meal. I definitely miss Chef Andrew & his creativity but I remain pleased with the waitstaff and I adore Claire & Ricky.

Upscale classy bar vibe & delicious food!! Great cocktails! Definitely order a few of the appetizers and wood fired vegetables, as they are all so good and artfully prepared. Highly recommended the mushroom toast, wood fired octopus and any of the pizzas. Perfect spot in Brookline for a date night or get together with friends.

Delicious as always. We’re able to accommodate my reservation request for a standard table instead of a high top, even for Valentine’s Day! Mushroom toast is a must. Burger is always the perfect mid-rare, every time. One of our favorite places, always excited to come back.

Food was fantastic. Service was slow in getting waiter’s attention and receiving drinks and appetizers however entrees came out quick. Food was excellent tasting will definitely return every time I am in Boston.
