Very uneven service was the single biggest detractor to the evening. Otherwise, cocktails were quite good, music/vibes also very good. Waiting 25 minutes for chickpeas because “we can’t get to them” and as long again for a final round of drinks took the shine off. Hopefully service improves with time.

Great new spot- cocktails were excellent, service was great. It’s an amazing ambience and a great spot for a date, or to catch up with friends. At first, I didn’t love that they took away our cell phones, but now I really appreciated it as it allowed us to focus on each other. highly recommend!

The wait time for our drinks was lengthy than normal. We had ordered the chip and dip, while the food was good, I think the chip and did ratio wasn’t so great. We had requested a certain server which we didn’t receive, not a big deal. However our server apparently went on break and didn’t tell anyone which was one reason for the long wait time for the cocktails. The energy she brought was not the friendliest and I feel that she could have been more attentive. We had dirty martinis which I enjoyed because it had a hint of sweetness to the olive juice. I judge a place off of their French 75 and it was delicious, cudos. With that being said, I would still recommend the social lounge and come back!

My date and I sat down at a table and after one drink each and an hour was told by our waitress that our reservation time had ended. I can’t remember being rushed out of a bar in Austin before. This is after paying 50 dollars for two very small cocktails. There were tons of empty seats and no line at the door. Beautiful interior and ambiance, but I can’t imagine that’s the type of experience the bar is going for… I couldn’t have been more disappointed. We would have stayed and ordered food but instead won’t be coming back to this establishment.

I was happily surprised with this bar! We went early in the evening (9:30 pm) and the aesthetic/vibe is incredible! Drinks are good as well. I hear on weekends/late nights it gets a little more club-like, but for a nice craft cocktail after dinner this place was a hit! PS: hard to find from the street, giving it a “speakeasy” feel. It is inside the Hanover building behind Manny’s.

The design, vibes and service is off the charts. Great addition to Austin's nightlife.
