Porto boasts a large and beautiful heated patio space with a retractable awning and sides in the middle of Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. The menu is inspired by Coastal Mediterranean selections with a focus on Italy's coast. Porto is located on Ring Road in Boston's Bay Bay, steps from the Prudential Center and Copley, next door to Saks Fifth Avenue.

Enjoy a lively meal in either of Porto's well appointed dining rooms, or indulge in a casual meal at the bar or kitchen counter seating, overlooking the oyster bar and open kitchen. Porto's one-of-a-kind outdoor patio and bar overlooks Ring Road with Boylston Street views, and serves as a Mediterranean oasis, right in the heart of Back Bay.

Porto was a cute restaurant with a nice outfoor patio. Inside is pretty run-of-the-mill. Service was alright once it started, but the restaurant was certainly overbooked for its capacity/waitstaff seemed stressed and confused. Food was pricier than it’s taste. Glad I went, wouldn’t go back on my own accord.

The outside ambiance can’t be beat, and the salad we got was awesome. The gluten free pasta was a little overcooked, but everything else was great.

Not good. Food was bad waited 20 minutes for our first round drinks and then 30 for our second round and the server forgot one

Showed up 5 minutes before res. 3 of 4 for our table. We were told that we couldn’t be seated until our party was complete. Host suggested that we enjoy a drink at the bar…the 3 of us ordered and before we received our drinks our 4th arrived. Ordered a drink for our 4th and we returned to the hostess stand at 6:15-6:20 at which point we were told that we could only have the table until 7:30. Given what we anticipated, a 3 course meal with time to enjoy it we were disappointed to say the least. We ordered immediately and sat back…desert was served at 8:15. This was much more in-line with our expectations…in the end the experience at the reception tainted the entire evening unnecessarily.

Thanks for visiting us Mr. Lane. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience at Porto. We strive to provide a seamless dining experience for all our guests, and it's clear we fell short in your case. I hope you can accept our deepest apologies for the fact that you felt rushed on Saturday night. Your reservation was at 6:00 and we only seat full parties, so when you arrived at 6:20 as a complete party we had you seated, I believe we let you know that we need the table back by 7:45 as we had a private event joining us at the table afterwards. We'll definitely work on improving these aspects to ensure a better experience for all our guests in the future. We hope to have the opportunity to see you back and we'll do our best to make your next visit positively memorable!
