We had a wonderful time at Porter Creek. We eat here 10-12 times a year. This is our go-to restaurant in the Burnsville area. The food is consistent and the overall experience is always wonderful. We met a friend there for dinner and all of us enjoyed our meal. We order the halibut and the salmon along with the chicken and peach salad. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Nothing is over the top but really good and really consistent. We also had the banana dessert that was pretty amazing. If you are in the area, give Porter Creek a try!

Waited 1 hr to be seated even though we had a reservation. There were multiple empty tables, but their excuse for the wait was that it was taking people longer than anticipated to leave. They then seated us in the covered outside area where the sun was setting and was directly shining on us when they had many other appropriate tables. We asked to move and were then seated inside with a very good server (Alexis). The food was good and our server was fantastic. The fact we waited for 1 hr to be seated, then was seated at a table that shouldn't have even been being used (we were the 2nd group they tried to seat there also), and the host was not apologetic about this essentially ruined the entire evening.

The food was fantastic! Each person in our group ordered something different and everyone agreed their specific meal was wonderful. The servers were very attentive and personable! The atmosphere was very nice, not too loud. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and plan to go again.

Food was fantastic. Service was below par. Waiter was busy and didn’t see him after he took food order. Manager was a bit aloof. Kitchen saved the day!

Modifications to omit tomatoes were denied. Spoke to manager he indicated they don’t make modification for the first 2 weeks of a new dish. Also that some food was premade (I.e the quinoa bowl) in the back. Disappointing they don’t put the customer first. He told me to fill out a comment card for corporate. This is my comment card!!!

This an Anniversary dinner that we really enjoyed…they just happened to seat us right next to our Wedding Reception table! Excellent evening, great service and awesome food!! Thanks

Initially we were seated in a location near a door and we were a bit cold. The hostess was more than accommodating to find us an alternate location. The waitress, Alexis was really knew the menu and offered up her recommendations as well some of the most popular selections. Wonderful service -which seems more difficult to find these days. The food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Menu has been updated. The pork chop is fantastic. Calamari is back. A new Mediterranean bowl looks beautiful. Cocktails and wine are exceptional. And of course the service is fantastic.

Absolutely wonderful place for a celebration. The service, food and atmosphere were all exceptional. Everyone loved everything they ate and drank. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I LOVE Porter Creek. I'd made reservations through OpenTable and we were walked to a wonderful table next to the fireplace. Excellent food, as always. Our favorite server, Megan, is in that area so we were very pleased to have her take care of us. This IS one of the best restaurants South of the River! You will not be disappointed.

Food was very good, as usual. My wife's steak was wonderful, though my salmon seemed a bit dry, not as moistas it was at our ladt time there, a week ago. Reservations were made about a month prior. However, we were seated right next to the servers station and is was more noisy with their communication and chatter. I don't recommend having a dinning table there for that reason.

Food was overoriced and not tasty. I ordered Ahi Tuna as a starter, they brought me 4-5 peices on tuna on s little bit of lettus. No sauce, nothing. It costed $15.

Made reservations and got right in - server Dior was inattentive and seemed distracted constantly. Long waits for drinks, had to ask for bread and bill. Food was great as always.

Frustrating that I gave the hostess my name (on the reservation for 3 people) and I was seated near the door at hostess's urging, so I could notice when the rest of my party arrived. Found out after waiting 15-20 minutes that the rest of my party was already seated in the front room. Hostess hadn't figured out that the 3 people under the same reservation were seated in opposite areas of the restaurant. Wasted time and frustrating for wait staff as we had to abandon table settings and resettle.

Really long wait for the food, but the restaurant was packed so it’s very understandable. Waiter did a fantastic job and the manager came and asked how the experience was. Would recommend to anyone!

We were served drinks pretty quickly after sitting down, but immediately we noticed every other step of the way was slow. We didn’t receive bread until it had reached an hour of us being there. The server did everything at half speed, and the steak was amazing but all other food was underwhelming and seemed like it had been sitting under the warmer for a while. Overall would not be a top choice for a “high end dinner”.
