Fast service - great atmosphere I asked for quiet seating area and got it ! Waiter greeted me with my name - food outstanding - more on the pricey side but worth it - highly recommend- very warm ambience- they have a great happy hr as well

Service from Paul & Patrick was outstanding! Lady had a mocktail, and I opted for wine. We had the carpaccio, split a ceasar salad, then a ribeye steak and a double order of crab cakes as an entree. All prepared properly, and all delicious! The special pastry dessert was excellent as well. Will be back!

Meal was outstanding in every way. Steaks were prepared to perfection. Service was exceptional. Phil was helpful and tentative. We particularly appreciate his comments on the wine list. The manager went out of his way to be helpful about a special requirement we had.

Enjoyed our entire experience. Cocktails, wine selection, apps, entrées, and desserts. Service was outstanding. Phil, Alex, Andres, and especially Feliciano, made our night extra special. Even with a large party in the center of the dining room, the noise level was pleasant. If you're looking for an elevated food experience with an approachable vibe, this is the spot.

So great! Dinner was fabulous, our waiter Phil was awesome. This was our first time at Polo Steakhouse and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back!

We have enjoyed Polo. The food and service is always great! We do feel like they could have some other options on the menu. We went on a Saturday… there were no specials. Just the menu offered, which did not include many other options besides beef. It would be nice to have at least one chicken and another seafood option. In addition the prices have gone up (considerably) since our last visit. It’s a great experience, just costs more with less options.

The attentiveness of the front of house staff was impeccable and the food was amazing. I had the rack of lamb and my wife the bison filet. Both were amazing, my lamb being the most melt in your mouth I had ever had. I ranked "value" less than 5 stars only because the prices are very high based on location nearby LegoLand Resort, but the food and service make this more than worthwhile.

We enjoyed our dinner. The room is nice and cozy. The service was excellent. The food overall was good. Our steaks were cooked properly, the sides and apps were solid. Nothing blew us away to earn five stars, but we enjoyed our meal.

Outstanding experience. My daughter and I enjoyed every element of the meal. While the food stole the show, the inspired BTG wine list brought heaps of joy. Great service and a killer steakhouse.

I had the filet and scallops. Both were cooked absolutely perfectly. My cocktail was excellent as well. Service was fine but not quite what I expected for the price point. The sound from the bar area and TVs there bleed into the main dining area, making the ambiance a bit more casual than typical for steakhouses at this price point. All in all a delicious meal, service and ambiance could be better though.

Excellent and knowledgeable service. Great food, the shrimp cocktail and bone marrow were excellent appetizers, the wedge salads were very tasty and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The bone-in ribeyes were very tender and tasty as were the filets. The short ribs and salmon were also enjoyed thoroughly. On-line menu listed maine lobster tails, but only split lobsters were on the menu in-house, which was a bit disappointing. We would have ordered more tails for the table if they had been available. But what we had was great.

So nice to see a steakhouse back in North County. Blake was a superb bartender. The vibe is still chill, sexy, and elegant. Our food server did not tell us about two items being absent from the menu, despite being asked if any off menu items were available (it did not trigger a memory); our waiter also forgot to bring our bottle of wine, up to 30 minutes after it was ordered (and our initial choice was not available, which we were informed of 10 minutes after ordering). Superb meals; substandard service in the restaurant.

Our waiter and waitress was top notch. The pricing for what you get is overpriced. My husband ordered steak and I got the salmon and it took 45 minutes to receive after ordering. When I made the reservation online I stated that we were there for my husband’s bday and it was not acknowledged. We tried it for the first time and our food was good, but definitely won’t be going back.

We were here for valentines 2024, for which they had a fixed menu. The menu failed to provide the value it was demanding, with some of the best selections already depleted by the time our reservation was up. This left the menu in a poor state. Lastly, we didn't even try the entrees because the portions were too small. Really hard to find the value anywhere. We walked out.

Absolutely overpriced with little value. Food quality, preparation and pairing is far below par. If you're going to look to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars for dinner, I suggest you try elsewhere.

Polo Steakhouse was perfect! We had the best booth in the corner where we could see the whole restaurant. We ordered the octopus, caesar salad, filet mignons, and seafood pasta side - all delicious! The pureed potatoes were delicious too. It was a great experience and great food. We will go back.

Overall, the appetizers and steaks were fantastic. I would like to mention though that my elderly mother did not enjoy her entree. It was one of the nightly specials, Halibut. The waiter did not explain how the fish was prepared, and we found the dish was overly spicy due to the jalepenos or other type of chiles in the dish. The desserts were okay, not as fresh as I would expect for this restaurant, since we have dined here 3-4 times before. Not sure we will be returning since there are other steakhouses that provide the same ambience but better value.
