Point Seven is the new seafood focused restaurant from renowned chef Franklin Becker and Restaurateur Stephen Loffredo. Located in the iconic MetLife building, Point Seven honors the diverse preparations of seafood from around the world, showcasing the breadth and depth of global techniques and flavors. With its focus on sustainable ingredients and materials, Point Seven offers an experience that is both delicious and environmentally-conscious. The stunning interior dining offers vibrant, relaxed bar seating or our main dining room for a business meeting or that perfect, special meal. Two private dining rooms are also available for larger groups.

Point Seven is just a short walk from Grand Central Terminal, the Broadway Theater District, and many major Midtown hotels. Beginning June 10th, Point Seven will premier our creative breakfast, making it a great option for business meetings, a quick bite and a nourishing start to their day.

Food was great. Service was good but kitchen was on the slow side. We sat outside and the smell of weed and cigarettes wafted in from … not sure where? Was odd because usually you can tell where it’s coming from, but here there did not seem to be anyone on the street who was using. Maybe a hidden vent from inside the building? Anyway, that was annoying but otherwise the meal was lovely. Will come back but next time will probably eat inside.

Had a lunch with my old friend. I ordered soft shell club sandwich and disappointed to find that there was a very thick batter with tiny crab to eat with just a lot of fried potatoes to make up the volume. Plus the crab was too salty. Sorry. The service staff were friendly but not that attentive at all, we had to be very patient to catch their attentions... at the end, I don' think I'd go back soon. It is a pity as it is a great location!

We ordered the seafood tower as a shared appetizer for two, the fluke and the grilled chicken breast. The food was gorgeous, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Well balanced cocktails and the soft ice cream dessert with the Moscato pairing was the perfect way to end this special meal. The ambiance is equally beautiful. On my shortlist of best seafood restaurants to try. CQ

Phenomenal seafood and probably the best in NYC. Service was also stellar and Chef Becker came out and personally welcomed us. Will be back soon for sure.

This is a wonderful restaurant with superb decor, ambience and excellent food. Their portion sizes are on the smaller side and the restaurant’s noise level is energetic.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. It looked like the perfect place to take a colleague for a special birthday lunch. The server was extremely rude. He gave us attitude, cut us off, and was quite stuck up. (He does not belong in the hospitality industry.) Our friends had questions about the menu, and you could tell he was getting annoyed. It made us so uncomfortable - so much so that our other friend did not want to ask questions. He said that he could not make any alterations or substitutions. You're listed as an Upscale dining experience, but you have no business calling yourself that. We will remain regulars at Le Pavillon and Cipriani.

Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Expensive but that's NY. Only bad is the coffee. Best to skip or have their ginger turmeric tea.

Terrific prix fixe on Friday and Saturday evenings. Service is slow, so don't go if you have to catch a train.

Nice place, convenient location. Although I enjoyed my dinner. I feel it was a bit pricey for what I got, and because of that, I will probably not be returning.

Second time to this wonderful establishment. Service from the bartenders, wait staff & chef were exceptional. This time we sat in the back room, which was great as it is quite space to carry on a conversation. There is a large space for a group in the same area that was sectioned off with a curtain & still was a quiet space with fabulous ambiance. Food, everything we ordered, was perfect. A matter a fact, everything on the menu is perfect.

Limited menu. A bit Japanese and a bit other. Portion size of salmon was small. Tasty yes but a larger portion would be called for.

The restaurant is lovely and so convenient to Grand Central. The service is A+, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fabulous. We had the lobster roll which was delicious. Tell the staff to serve the mustardy aioli on the side. The lobster doesn’t need it. The hazelnut chocolate was out of the world.

The food was very good, tho a bit pricey. For the price we thought we might get a little cookie or piece of chocolate at the end. :) Will return for drinks in the very cool bar.

Really great addition to the neighborhood. I've eaten lunch and dinner several times and have not had anything but great meals. The service is attentive, but no overwhelming and the ambiance is perfect. Just a great new place.

This is my second time eating here. The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted. Allot of attention is paid to customer satisfaction and, given I have a fair number of allergies, the restaurant went out of its way on multiple levels to ensure I was safe in what I ordered and was served. Everything was fresh and delightfully prepared. I would highly recommend.

This was disappointing three of us shared 6 dishes.. very disappointing. The steak and burger were beyond rare we said medium. Everything was incredibly salty. We were hoping to welcome a new gem to the neighborhood but it seems they had some work to do in the kitchen.

I ordered the lobster roll and it was prepared with mustard - way too assertive a flavor to pair with lobster as lobster has a subtle flavor. I couldn't taste the lobster at all. A little less "innovation" an a little better flavor pairing is in order here!

Lunch was wonderful. Burgers Cooke to perfection and flavorful. Vegetarian burger was equally as wonderful. Salads generous in size and flavorful. Avocado salad in particular was excellent. Wait staff perfect. Even though they “impose” time limits we never felt rushed and the dining experience was truly amazing. The menu is extensive so looking forward to coming back and taking advantage of all the wonderful fish options as well.

The food was delicious and service was great. The whole dinner took a bit longer than i expected but we were talking too and I think the server didn’t want to rush us. So overall experience was great. Will definitely go again.

Was better than expected - food (esp desert) was outstanding. Ambience fantastic. Close to GCS which was great for those of us who need to catch trains to the suburbs. Definitely coming back!

Waiter wasn't very friendly. The food was very good but not excellent. I loved the ambiance of the place though. If I go back, I would only go to the bar.
