Poeta is nestled within The Frances Modern Inn located on historic 11th street, just minutes from downtown.

Delicious food and great ambience. It didn’t get too noisy even as it filled, which was great for conversation. The food was great and portions were enough for take home.

Location is not great, and the food didn’t taste very good. I wouldn’t go back. Service was great though.

Outstanding, both food and service. This restaurant keeps getting better and I give them a lot of credit for continuing to update their menu offerings and elevating their food since opening last year. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Staff is friendly and on it. Food is delicious. And they even had a piano player when I was there. It’s my third time there and I’ll definitely be back again.

We arrived around 5 on a Sunday to the feeling of a relaxed neighborhood Italian restaurant. Ryan, our waiter, was informative and allowed us to sample several wines from their well curated selection of Italian wines before ordering a bottle. My wife loves branzino, and she rated this one as one of the best. I found my cappelletti with crab an very enjoyable variation.

We are huge Intero fans and finally got to try their sister restaurant, Poeta. My husband called it “Intero’s greatest hits made more accessible”. The arancini, gnocchi, braised beef and risotto were all delicious. But our favorite was the goat cheese cheesecake- wow! The service was great, and the atmosphere was romantic and cozy, which made it feel worthy of a special date night. We will be back!
