The ambience at Podshavers restaurant is relaxed casual perfection, with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients on an ever changing menu. When the sun is shining, customers are transported to the best of the Mediterranean in the beautifully created courtyard.

Sunday lunch. Main meal. Crusted Lamb over cooked. Crust dry, no flavour, literally scattered over meat. Gravy, gluppy and dried onto neat. Overall not impressed. Saving grace, a wonderful lemon posset !

A lovely evening. Although the service was a little slow we were well looked after and the surroundings were great. The food was very good, some courses outstanding. In particular, the pigeon starter was outstanding and the pork belly main. The catch of the day was slightly overcooked but still very tasty.

What a find. First time to Podshavers and we were made so welcome. Dining was a pleasure and all staff very friendly with nothing they wouldn't do to make our visit a success. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and perfect for our Golden Wedding celebration. We will certainly return, hopefully very soon with friends who will thoroughly enjoy it. Many, many congratulations to all.

We haven’t been here many times, but each time the food has been beautifully made. The new young chef was superb! Great service, beautiful setting and great food. Very happy

4 of us dined Friday evening 10th May 24. Good menu, delicious food. Very high standard. One of the best places to eat in the Taunton area.

Lovely food, service and location. Felt it was more of a venue for a special occasion, as prices a little high. Would reccommend and return at some point.
