Thank you for choosing PLORI Greek Mediterranean, we look forward to having you. PLORI means "front of the boat" in Greek, and we would wait for the boat to return with the days catch. Our New Year's Eve Dinner, with a maximum meal time of 2 hours, is available online thru 6:30 pm. Our Late Dinner, as well as our Live Music Dinner, is only available via contacting us directly at (516) 279-4762. For New Year's Day, we will serving Brunch 12:00 pm-4:30 pm. We will be closed for dinner but, we will be happy to see you on Tuesday the 2nd of January at 12:00 pm. Happy New Year!

This was our first time here and we will definitely return. The food is beautifully prepared, served and delicious. Decor was lovely and the staff is extremely attentive. Wonderful dining experience.

We recently dined at Plori and had a fantastic experience. The service was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the flame-grilled calamari and lobster souvlaki, followed by the grilled lavraki and lamb chops. All dishes were delicious and nicely plated. There was a great dessert selection as well. We enjoyed the Greek yogurt very much. I rarely mention the valet when reviewing a restaurant, but in this case, he deserves a mention as he was extremely nice and welcoming. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Greek restaurant in Long Island.

Plori is one of our favorite Nassau County Restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious. They often have terrific specials. My husband and I went with another couple after work on a Wednesday. We arrived at 6 and found that they had a three course dinner for only $49.00. We each had an appetizer, meal and dessert and each dish was perfect.

Reserved on Open Table only to have Maitre d look at his list and claim I don’t have a reservation. He was giving us a vibe which had a subtext of this place is so amazing and your trying to fake your way in. After showing him my confirmed reservation he dialed it down a notch and finally “found” the reservation. We were placed at one of those small table for two that is even smaller when it’s configured long v wide. It’s a pet peeve and annoying to sit at a small table where your constantly moving utensils and glassware to make room for the meal, especially in a restaurant with $45+ entrees. The waiter arrived to take our drink order and 10 min later arrived with our wine and took our order. Shame on me I did not read the menu closely and ordered fried cod, which was paired with a horrible vegetable dish that was whipped and tasted like sour cream cheese. As we ate our meal, (I left most of it over) the table next to us was presented with menu and a recital of specials, we looked at each other and said what specials this was not presented to us. Aa we finished the meal the manager came over and asked how we liked the food I responded respectfully and honestly and replied, disappointed. He asked why I took responsibly for not realizing the cod was a fried, but seriously it wasn’t just that it was fried, it had no taste and that vegetable fish was a horror. We ordered desert and the waiter cheerfully informed us the coffee was in the house. My wife’s fish dish was pretty good and the zucchini chips were great. However for the overall experience and cost I don’t see myself going back. I’ll stick with Lamani
