My family had Mother’s Day brunch here and it was absolutely delightful! We sat outside and the ambience couldn’t have been lovelier. The food was excellent and so was the service. This was my first time here and I look forward to coming back for lunch and dinner.

Server noted our good allergies. Then the food was brought with items my friend was deathly allergic too. They comped our dinner after talking with the manager

This is a staple for me when I stay at UCLA. But an absolute pleasure even if you are not. Food is fresh and the drinks are amazing. Staff is accommodating and I like the atmosphere. The bar and outside are are top notch.

Excellent food, service and ambience. We recommend eating outdoors because the sports bar near the indoor tables can be noisy.

Outdoor heaters were not available because they were being used at another venue in the hotel. Seriously I’ve been to this restaurant several times and the food was really off of its game. Hot food that should’ve been served warm. All the courses were all piled up together… What a mess !!I really appreciate it that the Maitre De toward the end of the meal explained why we could not have heaters outside if I had known that I would’ve made a different choice of restaurants.

Fantastic on-campus restaurant. It is disappointed that there're so many empty seats while the restaurant told me we cannot bring more guests. The reservation system needs to be improved!

Plateia is ALWAYS outstanding. From Stephanie's greeting up front to Jordan's care and concern for our needs we were well cared for. Besides that, the food and bar can't be out done! Of all the restaurants on the Westside, this is the one I keep returning to!

Great food, beautiful outdoor seating, attentive but unobtrusive service; and, not least, moderate prices and a strict no-tipping policy. Omelette is to be strongly recommended.

We asked for the private room when we arrived for our 12:30PM reservation. They said that there is a reservation at 1:30PM. But even until 2:30PM, that room was still empty.

Service is always great here! Very limited menu, and is usually out of things. Best for a drink before a game or after. Super convenient!

The staff was very friendly, attentive and made our experience on the patio outstanding for us and our dog. He also enjoyed his chicken dinner served fresh from the kitchen. And tips are already included!

I'm a regular and LOVE Plateia. My only compaint yesterday was I brought a friend with me who had never been there and when she requested that the heater be turned on the gentleman said it was not working and he'd call an engineer. We never saw anyone and it was chilly. We told the server that the gentleman was going to get an engineer and it still was not attended to. I bit of a bad first taste for my friend.

We went for an early supper after the UCLA Gymnastics meet. The burgers were "right on". This is a super-friendly environment.

Always great food and outstanding service. The noise level was a little high probably due to the completion of a gymnastics event. The drinks are wonderful. Love the open feel of the place.

Have eaten dinner here several times pre-Geffen theater. We park in Westwood near the theater then walk the easy 10 minutes to the Luskin Cinderence Center where Plateia is located. Last night we were seated indoors at the far north side of the restaurant. Very different ambiance and it felt more like a breakfast area of a hotel, especially with the doors to the buffet area kept propped open where we could see into. Food was excellent as always. We really enjoyed the seasonal burrita and kabocha starter to share. Interesting and delicious flavors. We enjoyed our gem salad with chicken and the sea bass. Complementary chocolate dipped strawberries for Valentines Day were a lovely touch and just enough of a bite of sweet to end the meal. Next time I eat there I will request eating outdoors (weather permitting) or closer to the bar and greeter station for a quieter and more elegant dining g experience.
