I had a reservation for Mother's Day. Checked in 15 minutes early. The host said she would text when the table is ready. She said it shouldn't be too long because they were just waiting to clean a couple of tables. We sat outside waiting to be texted. It was passed our reservation time and I finally went into ask if our table was ready and the host said that the party was already sat. There were only 2 of use and both of us were waiting outside. She pointed at the table and I said, I don't know those people. She explained that her coworker must have sat someone else in our table. She waited until the coworker came back and he claimed he didn't seat them, while they're trying to figure out what happened, I'm still waiting to be sat. They seat 2 more parties (one was a walk-in) before me and I finally got a table. I don't care who sat in "our" table, but take care of the issue at hand and figure out what happened later. No one said "sorry about that" or "thanks for being patient." I get it, it's Mother's Day, it's the craziest day in the food industry, so I was trying to give them a little grace, but then we get sat, ordered a dozen oysters and it's missing oysters. The food was cold and the cocktails were lukewarm. I had high hopes for this place because I love a good seafood place, but I don't think it's worth it.

Everything we ordered was delicious! From our yummy frothy espresso martinis to my delicious Thai clam chowder to the shrimp and grits. My salad was with the pears was amazing as well.

Our Mother’s Day lunch was a big hit. We ordered the Thai clam chowder, salad (golden beets), and three share appetizers. All were delicious and more than we could finish. We had crab dip, shrimp toast and crab cakes. The crab cakes we took home for later because we were full for the others. Our server was warm and gracious. It was just right, and on such a busy restaurant day. Thanks Plank!

Food was good but a little pricey for the ambiance. You can comparable at Trulucks at feel the ambiance and service match the cost. May look at them during happy hour. The entree menus limited as well.

I have heard nothing but great things from friends about this place, so we decided to go with some of the friends that have been recommending it. The ambience was great, the service was even better, but the food was bland and not worth the price. Probably won't be back.

We had the crab dip, crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, wedge salad and redfish. Crab dip was phenomenal! Cheesy! I don’t usually like cheese with seafood but this was done SO well! The bread that comes with it is grilled and delicious. Just a warning though it doesn’t come with enough bread and extra bread will cost you. Crab cake was good, I’ve had better but I would order it again. Brussels were the best I had. Reminded me a lot of sesame chicken! I didn’t feel like I was eating a vegetable. The redfish was great! Excellent flavor! The wedge was my only negative. It was SUPER salty and I LOVE salt. It was also very heavy on the pepper. There was a LOT of dressing. I didn’t eat it but the rest of my meal made up for it. This is the only thing I would not order again or maybe I’d ask for a different dressing. We were 30 minutes early to our reservation on a Saturday evening and were sat right away. We did arrive earlier in the evening at 6:00. It was quiet and clean.

Food was extremely salty from soup of the day to main entree, redfish. Fried shrimp orders (3) ok. Service was excellent; value was appropriate for location and entrees. Cannot honestly recommend a return trip.

The Loup de Mer was outstanding. The oyster selection was great , but a little pricey and oysters were very small. I get more for my money for Texas gulf oysters elsewhere. I will probably not order oysters again here.

The food was just ok. The shrimp toast was not good. You could barely taste shrimp. I ordered a mint flavored non-alcoholic drink that was not good. Overall experience was very disappointing.

Great date night. Good drinks. Very fresh and delicious ousters. Nice salmon + beet salad with large piece of just right cooked and seasoned salmon. Will definitely be back for happy hour to get half-price oysters!

The family loves the brussel sprouts and cannot turn down a cup of Thai Clam Chowder, no matter what else we get. Great service at this visit and excellent food all around.

We love the selection of raw oysters and great cocktails at Plank and their very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sadly our favorite restaurant manager, Austin, has moved on to new opportunities but we still look forward to many delicious lunches in the future and to trying the upcoming menu changes.

The seafood was very acceptable. Sides were overly salty, could not finish the veggies. Service was very good. They have a lot to work out with the staffing, menu selection, and food quality.

Food was decent but not exceptional. Oysters lacked flavor and crab curry rice was dry. Best dish was the squid ink pasta.

This was our first outing to Plank, and we were not disappointed. Everything from the cocktails to the entrees, we were very pleased. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and had great recommendations. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. Our son, who is a very picky eater, was very complementary and said we should come back again. We would definitely recommend Plank Seafood Provisions to anyone looking for seafood in the Domain- North Austin area.

This restaurant isn’t terrible but don’t order the $20 Poke Tuna “Tower”. It is all rice and very little fish hiding under a bed of smashed avocado. Save your money. Same goes for the Smoked Salmon Tartine—microscopic specks of fish. It appears the restaurant is trying to save money at the expense of the product.

Our waitress was Whitney and she was AWESOME! Cocktails were very tasty and the hush puppies were incredible. We ordered the grilled seafood tower and was overall pleased with it. Scallops were perfect but the lobsters tails were WAYYYY overcooked. Couldn't get all of it out of the shell. Parking sucks close to the restaurant but there's a parking garage a short walk away. Can't wait to come back and try all the things we didn't get to!

What an excellent experience at Plank! Delicious food, good wine and stellar service. Stratton is a great server, putting up with our table’s bad humor. The Brussels sprouts are stellar! Shrimp is good, redfish is amazing!
