This is a great tapas and wine bar. Excellent selection of unique wines and phenomenal small plates. We loved the ambience and the hole in the wall feel. Service was great as well. We will be coming back.

Nice little place but seriously overpriced on their offerings. $75 for a decent bottle of wine and tapas were $15-$30 for minuscule portions.

Had a great dinner once again. The service was superb and the attention to detail was very appreciated. We had the paella, fish of the day, and a few tapas for a celebration. All came out at a good time, food was delicious and the wine was superb!

Had a great experience here. The food and service was on point! It is not inexpensive but I personally feel that it is commensurate to what I received. I will definitely be back again! ( best foie gras I ever had!)

Be prepared. Plates here are really quite expensive and portions are small, but they are very tasty and well presented. Wine is expensive compared to most places. We won't return.

Plane &Level never disappoints. The food is superb and the service is incredible! This was not our first time at the restaurant but we took a couple of friends last afternoon and they were very impressed with everything.

Food was fair. Charcuterie board was brought out with no bread. We asked for bread. They didn’t bring it until the charcuterie board was almost finished plus it was $10. Service was slow. Portions were the smallest tapas I have ever had. Would not go back.

Great tapas restaurant with a very nice collection of wine by the glass. Their foie gras and the duck breast are exceptional! And worth the trip!! Very nice conversation with the staff as we ate at the bar. Jenna took the time to explain the menu and had some excellent suggestions for the wine.

Food quality was high as was the prices. Tapas are generally smallish, appetizer-sized, portions. Americans hungering for a filling-meal quantity of tapas and bottle of wine (as distinguished from seeking a glass of wine and a small appetizer), will find it an expensive evening, albeit with an interesting variety of choices. For me, the dinner value is not there and I don't expect to return.

We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Sat at the bar, which is made from the tail of an airplane. Service was awesome. Server was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We were offered different wines to try before we settled on one we liked. Each item on the menu that we asked about was thoroughly explained and suggestions were also provided. The octopus, foie gras, empanadas and duck were all very good. Bread service was tasty too. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place, really good wine and service. Food was generally good, sadly foisgras was cold (sauce frozen) and meatballs raw. The rest was truly delicious

Fantastic service, food, and wine at this Dirano-recognized spot that is a bit out of place in Old Town Spring. Sit at the bar made out of a vintage tail wing so Jenna can recommend a wine and take great care of you. We highly recommend!

We adore this restaurant in old town Spring. It’s delightful to explore the shops beforehand and then indulge in a leisurely dinner of excellent wine and tapas. On this particular night, we were the first guests, and despite a back-of-house emergency, the staff generously offered us a complimentary bottle of wine for our wait. Miraculously, they managed to prepare a delicious meal for us. Each dish was crafted with evident care, boasting diverse yet complementary flavors. If you haven’t experienced Plane and Level, the cozy ambiance, impressive wine selection, and delectable food will surely entice you to return. Just wish we lived closer.

It was wonderful! Amazing wine and recommendations. Tapas were outstanding, we had the tuna, octopus, beef empanadas, and duck! It was a great evening and experience! We will definitely be back.

I would love to give this restaurant a 5-star rating but, they mishandled what was to be a special birthday dinner for us. We made reservations well in advance for 2 people at 6:30. It was a Monday evening and we did not expect there to be many patrons. That said, the restaurant is small having only (3) 4-top tables, (1) 2-top, and then seating at the bar. We arrived at 6:15 and were given the choice of sitting at the bar or the 2 seat table that is right at the door! This was my wife’s birthday dinner and I wanted it to be a bit more intimate than sitting at one of those choices. There were 2 empty tables when we arrived and I asked why we could not sit in one of them. We were told that they were reserved for arrivals at 6 and 6:30. We ended up sitting at the bar with several single gentlemen and had a lovely meal with Ericka taking very good care of us. A group of 4 came in shortly after us and took one of the 4-tops, however, the other table remained empty until around 7:30 as we were finishing up our desert !! A couple (2 people) came in and took that table! I am not sure why we were not given that table and it sort of spoiled a special evening for us … especially seeing that it was given away later in the evening to another couple. We love tapas and are really delighted to have a quality restaurant like Plane & Level nearby. We hope that they are successful, however, their process needs to improve. Had I known in advance that we would be sitting at the bar, we probably would have elected to go elsewhere. I am not sure why I bothered make a reservation?

The wine was excellent and we were pleased with the recommendations. Patatas brava was my favorite. Nice spice. The octopus was really tender and yummy too.

A great lunch with many unique items on the menu. Definitely a hidden little gem in old town Spring. The Ahi, octopus, and Wagyu empanadas were the highlights!

Amazing experience! I was there for Sunday brunch and the combination of flavors is incredible. This place could earn a Michelin star one day if they improve some of the customer experience (like add wine pairings to the main menu, offer a tasting menu, pairing menu). The atmosphere is very cool with the plane feel and the staff dressed like flight crew. The jazz music was a great treat, too!

Very nice atmosphere and decor, good live music, creative tapas and good wines. Excellent for date night. A couple of the menu selections we tried were very good but extremely overpriced, specifically the 10.00 loaf of bread and the 35.00 cheese board (try Cru Wine Bar for an excellent and reasonably priced cheese board) were not worth the price but others, like the empanadas were delicious!
